He is a man who has presented himself under many guises throughout the years, each fulfilling his diverse artistic talents. And following on from the massive Astrolab earlier this year, M.I.K.E. Push immerses his devilish temptations, with two tracks not for the faint hearted.

Since joining the Coldharbour family twelve months ago, the New York residing Belgian has continued to present his uniquely identifiable construction of immense melodies. And the trend continues with Infusion, surrounded with a tough exterior that works wonders on the dance floor. On the flip side, Bomba is even more unrelenting, with pounding grinds and tones which blossom late into the night.

Two tracks fused with techno and tech-trance influences, and weapons adequate for any setting. All taken in stride by one M.I.K.E. Push.

Jonas Rathsman announces his latest offering with cutting-edge innovators Crosstown Rebels. ‘Complex’ featuring Josef Salvat is released on 10th June 2016.

This is a tech-blues odyssey, an introverts primal scream, where complex emotions and urges are vented and perfectly complemented by Rathsman’s explorations into the dark corners of electronic music. Enjoy the journey. With the release only in the hands of a select few tastemaker DJs, ‘Complex’ has been making waves at the recent Miami Winter Music Conference, “receiving hands in the air welcomes and even a sit down ovation” according to label boss Damian Lazarus. ‘Complex’ is set to be the first underground anthem of 2016.

The release comes with two carefully chosen remixes. First up is Swiss techno stalwart Deetron, who steers the song into percussive acid oblivion while Serge Devant offers up his deep house expertise for a dramatic and driving offbeat cut.

With his instantly recognisable sound, Jonas has found praise the world over for his keen ear and transcendent sets, which have captivated listeners on both the international club and festival scenes.

Following his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Rathsman continues to showcase his technical capabilities and impressive track selection with his bi-monthly mix series ‘ELEMENTS’, now on its fourth instalment.

Experimental Feelings aka Spanish DJ and producer Toni Gonzalez returns to BP with a superb four tracker entitled Beautiful Eyes. Last time out we saw Toni on his own slice Between The Stars on Green Martian and on remix duties for Audio Noir's Your Love, both coming out around the start of 2016. He's been busy with various other things since then and we're delighted to see him back and dishing out the progressive vibes on his full Bonzai Progressive debut.

We set off with the title track, Beautiful Eyes which takes us on a sublime progressive journey filled with tight beats and enthralling synths and pads. Bright open hats create wonderfully rich textures and cut through the superb low end frequencies with ease. The bassline rattles along delivering a great warmth to the sound as the layers build and the notes change. Lots to keep the ears trained on this one, not to be missed.

As the title might suggest, Deep Tingling takes us deeper into the prog sound with a gathering of warm lush tones to help us along the way. A tight drum arrangement keeps the track on its course as the lower sounds come together to create a hotbed of lush tones. Mysterious vocals ease into the groove and blend perfectly with the low basses and FM synths. Definitely one for the late night sessions here.

Broken Dreams is a solid, driving progger that will give any set that extra push deep into the rabbit-hole where you become one with the sound. Tight drum arrangements lead the way as swirling pads and dreamy melodies cascade all over. A deep probing bassline provides a strong platform for the sound to grow and mesmerizes the mind. Hair raising vocal chants are introduced that put you firmly in the tracks grasp for the duration. Top notch stuff and a must have track that does not disappoint.

Mistica delves deep into the progressive psyche with a hypnotic vibe and a floor filling groove that will most certainly appeal to the core of the progressive world. We treated to some expertly crafted drums and percussions that deliver shuffling rhythms to get the feet dancing. A raw, organic bassline dishes out a gritty low end as ethereal pads swirl overhead. Stunning ethnic style vocals are scattered throughout giving the track great character and creating wonderful textures within the sound. Another fine slice of prog that is a must have track for those peak time sets.

Manual Music kicks off 2017 with something truly special. Nearly a decade after it's initial release on Deep Focus, 'Been Here Before' by Guy J gets a remix treatment by Namatjira. These are not just a couple of new remixes, but these were born out of the idea to create an ode to Jerry van Schie, co-label owner of Deep Records and Deep Focus, and driving force behind the Groovecollection brand who passed away in 2016 after losing his fight to cancer.

In the words of Namatjira: 'After the funeral of Jerry I was thinking I wanted to do something musical to honor Jerry with. It took me a few to know what I wanted. When I opened the old Deep (Jerry & Peter's label) catalogue there was immediately one track that caught my attention, 'Been Here Before' by Guy J. I contacted Peter to see if he was willing to share the parts with me and he agreed immediately with me. 

I started working on the track and made two versions. I told Guy the story and let him listen to the sketches I had made and together we made a final choice. Then I finished the instrumental and contacted Ben "Royal Sapien" Mautner if he wanted to give the vocal parts his touch to make it work with my instrumental. 

When we both were satisfied the first big bump I had to take was to talk to Jerry's brother and hoped he would feel the remix. He defenilty felt it and contacted Jerry's wife. Later that week I had her on the phone and she told me she cried during the complete song, I had goosebumps all over my body and a lump in my throat.'

All proceeds for this release will go to Jerry's wife to donate to whatever charity cause she feels appropriate.

Romanian DJ and producer Cryss debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the superb Simple Pleasure which comes backed up with two top notch remixes from Bob The Groove and Mendexx. Cryss comes from a musical family and this exposure has nourished his passion for music. He learned guitar and keyboards before finding his way into DJing and then producing. With several releases on various labels we're delighted to have him on board at Bonzai Progressive.

The Original Mix intros with a nice pounding kick drum along with cool shuffling hi hats and various percussions. A distant melodic arp begins to rise and is soon joined by a warm, probing bassline. The bassline morphs and transforms with a little help from some filtering as subtle guitar riffs and sweeping pads join in. A super tight slice from start to finish that will sit perfectly in any set bringing a smooth deep vibe.

Bob The Groove returns to Bonzai Progressive on the remix and once again he shows us his superb talents in the studio. The intro boasts a deep droning bass that takes hold, drawing you in alongside nice chunky kicks and crispy hi hats. Mesmeric pads fill the background and continue for the duration becoming prominent on the break as they blend effortlessly with hypnotic vocals. The result is cosmic bliss that will definitely be a welcome addition in any late night set.

Scottish DJ and producer Mendexx delivers a superb deep progressive remix that will not disappoint. Mendexx returns to Bonzai Progressive after his last outing Mutate performed very well indeed. Here he takes us on a sublime prog journey that sets out with superb punchy kick drums and crispy hi hats. A stabbing, probing bassline soon comes through and we're hooked. The bassline is joined by cool synth stabs and subtle vocals that add an air of mystery to the track. Rich strings sweep through and on the break we find intriguing melodies that linger for the duration. Top notch stuff not to be missed.
