Wer mich kennt, der weiß, dass kaum ein Set ohne einen Track von ihr auskommt. Somit war es nach dem Ben Böhmer-Set ein Muss mit ihr auch ein Special zu machen. Ihr werdet so gut wie jeden Track aus diesem Set kennen, was aber einfach bedeutet, wie sehr ich ihre Arbeit zu schätzen weiß. Nora En Pure ist pure Lebensfreude. <3

Recorded live from Fusion Festival 2023 | Räuber*innenhöhle | Fr. 30.06. 02-04 AM 💖

TL;DR: After years of going to Fusion as a raver, I was super excited to finally have the chance to play there thanks to the @menschmeier_berlin team, who are curating a part of the lineup of the infamous and beloved Räuber*innenhöhle floor. But I was also anxious before the festival because the gig happened at one of the most challenging times in my life — mental-health-wise. However, I pushed through and the warm welcome of the whole festival team and to see literally all of my friends who were at the Festival in the crowd, dancing, smiling and shouting, gave me the bestestest feeling. 💖  

After the gig, I unplugged my recorder without saving the file.🤦‍♂️ Luckily I found a hack online that allowed me to restore 2/3 of the set — the rest will remain saved on our internal hard drives. While restoring the data, I manually had to insert the lost half of the first and last track of the recording, so I let my perfectionism take over and cut out a ruined transition in the recording ☠️🤝 So here’s to about 90 minutes of 140 BPM+ groovers between driving dub, hard groove, and Detroit techno. 🍉

In this most intimate of spaces, here I am, performing naked, surrounded by naked bodies, flowers and tea cups. And it feels beautifully vulnerable, heart-opening and so authentic. I am melting with joy. 

It was so touched by the lovely response of the participants of this beautiful one of a kind event and the seemingly effortless flow of the Naked Tea Party Festival. After my set I swam in the lake under the moonlight and I cried tears of joy for being so so lucky to be able to share my art in such wonderful spaces.

FunKamel is the musical project of Moti Landesman & Neria Orbach. The two mix a wide selection of ethnic music flavours layered on a variety of electronic styles.
FunKamel was formed in the underground scenes of Tel-Aviv and later on, they stepped out from the bubbling city to perform in many colourful gatherings around the globe. From the vast deserts of Dubai to the jungles of Tulum, the crowded venues of Berlin and much more, Moti and Neria ride on their magic Kamel to display their Funky approach towards multi-cultural music around the world.
At the Beginning of 2019, Funkamel founded their record label 'Camel Riders Records' with Laorz. Together they have built a big family that showcases constantly a cutting-edge catalogue of multiple delightful electronic genres, fused with traditional folk and organic music.
