there is a long history here but lets just start with the most recent incarnation of the band. Chuck McCammon and Adam Drew:formerly "HALOPHILE" started collaboration and forming of this new material in Januray 2012 and have been steadily building their new music library to 15 new original tracks. New Members Joe Labatt (guitar) and Jody Schaible (bass) round out the quartet.More to come..

After a year’s worth of member changes, studio tragedies, and trashing songs The Brother Moon finally comes out with its debut EP.

Self-Titled is full of honest lyrics, moaning guitars, and simple, yet hard hitting drums. The Brother Moon went through a huge genre change when their first EP was lost in the digital sea forever. It made them question what they were doing and why they were doing it. The consensus was that rock n’ roll was losing it’s honesty and that they were only adding to the problem. So they went back into the barn and wrote three new songs that they believed in and felt were an honest representation of who they were and what they wanted to do.

The band’s existence revolves around being an outlet. A place where the band, and anyone else who wants to, can share their thoughts, beliefs, sorrow, and joy through the power of music. The Brother Moon’s mission in their personal lives are to be open and honest, and let people have the opportunity to be open and honest with them. To share Jesus, to share bitterness, to share gladness not just through music, but through personal relationships with anybody the band comes in contact with.

What better way to do that than through rock n’ roll?
