Joywave has proved prolific and popular on the road, performing countless headline dates, show-stealing sets at international festivals spanning Lollapalooza, Coachella, Bumbershoot, and the UK’s Reading/Leeds, and support runs with such like-minded artists as The Killers, Young the Giant, Cold War Kids, Walk the Moon, Bleachers, Smashing Pumpkins, Foals, Silversun Pickups, Brandon Flowers, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and more. As if that weren’t enough, Joywave have put equivalent energy into creating visual and other components, supplementing their music with similarly inventive videos and YouTube series like Joy Meets World and Coffee With Joywave, the latter showcasing their own Rochester-roasted Joywave coffee brand.

Kristjan Hermannsson was first taught music by his father - and he likes to keep it in the family, calling on him and his brother as his backing band when not at university in Liverpool.  Embracing elements from jazz, blues, and rock, the multi-instrumentalist is equally as comfortable behind a piano with a slow, sincere ballad as he is centre stage performing his upbeat guitar-driven crowdpleasers - the lot tied together with clear, soulful vocals.

Hulda Kristín Kolbrúnardóttir (Hidden) is an electronic music composer, originally from Reykjavík, Iceland but based in Berlin. Hulda Kristín Kolbrúnardóttir is an award-winning singer with many nominations on her roster. Known for her “foghorn” vocals and interesting techniques, HIDDEN´s music is an ethereal blend of synth pop, ambient soundscapes and alternative upbeat dance music. 

Hulda is a veteran of the Icelandic independent music scene, having played every venue and festival in and out the country multiple times,  as well as being a staple DJ in the Icelandic LGBTQIA+ and drag scene.
She has played internationally at Heartland festival and Bergen Festival with her band Kiriyama Family and took part in Eurovision in Rotterdam on behalf of Iceland with Daði Freyr & Gagnamagnið 2020/2021, managing to get to 4th place in 2021. The artist has been in the same music scene since 2014 but is ready for this new chapter of her creative career to work hard on making her voice a statement piece in the future.
