Sometimes writing press releases is really hard. There’s a certain artwork to summing up the essence of a composition to someone who hasn’t yet heard the music.

Thankfully - this is not the case with the latest EP from Manchester's Hidden Spheres.

Tom is in his purple period - and after nearly a decade of releasing delicately constructed songs that sit in the hinterland between dance floor and home listening, he’s finally cracked the code for creating ABSOLUTE BANGERS, with all the class and lightness of touch present from his previous work.

Hidden spheres is in turbo mode - and you’ve most likely heard these tunes without knowing it - TANZE has been a staple in Bradley Zero’s set for the last year and has always, ALWAYS caused complete dance floor destruction.
Add in the Italo flavoured Paula Tape remix and you have one of the most exciting dance floor propositions of the year.

Hidden Sphere’s wanted to explore Treasure’s melancholy vocal tones on “I’ll Always Love You” which resulted in an eerie offering paired perfectly with a Dub/Breaks backdrop.

Featuring the combined talents of Allysha Joy, Hidden Spheres AKA Tom Harris and Finn Rees the single ‘Trust the Feeling’ is the first release from the trio’s upcoming album Solina and is a track that gives us a very real insight into the Balearic House, Street Soul, Alternative RnB and Jazz influences that interweave throughout the album to create a musical landscape that speaks to the heart, spirit, body and mind with intention.

Trust the Feeling is a track that persuades us to slow down to make love, to make sense of yourself, to be in connection to others, in connection to life, an intimacy with all things, as a way of moving with closeness and in deep breath, where light touches and draws us closer.

All three artists have an amazing musical pedigree having between them worked as part of such innovative acts as 30/70 Collective, Close Encounters and on numerous collaborations with bands, artists and producers from across the globe. All have had releases on highly regarded international and independent music labels and have played and appeared on major festival line-ups including We Out Here.

Trust the Feeling is the first digital single release on BBE Music from the Joy Spheres Rees album, Solina, upcoming on vinyl and digital.

Taken from Solina, Promised Me Love is the second single to come from the album and is an amazing showcase for the collaborative and synergistic ethos it comes from as well as the trio of Allysha Joy, Hidden Spheres and Finn Rees who created this originative music.

Promised Me Love is a song that encapsulates the emotions of falling for someone; of how it feels like chasing the wind as you dance together, the need to know that they feel the same as you, the feeling that distance can seem wider, about how you need them to be thinking about you as much as you do about them, about the need for the promise of love even when they cannot make that promise.

The trio of Joy Spheres Rees are all established artists in their own right, with solo and collective credits over the past decade . Firstly as part of the burgeoning and increasingly important scenes in Melbourne/Naarma, Brisbane and Sydney and as global artists with releases on hugely influential labels. Many will know of their work with 30/70 Collective and Close Encounters, amongst others, and many will have experienced their musical creativity on festival line-ups including Gilles Peterson's We Out Here.

Promised Me Love comes out on BBE Music as a digital release and is taken from the album Solina.

2008年「UP BEAT!@club asia」に参加しメインフロアで実力を発揮。DJ EMMA率いる「TROUBLE HOUSE@WOMB」では2008年より参加し開催終了まで務めあげた。世界最高レーベルの一つ「Defected in the HOUSE」や「Ministry of Sound」主宰のビックイベントでオープニングアクトをこなし、2013年都内主要ベニューWOMBでのCOUNT DOWN PARTYにも名を連ねた。
2003年から続く自身唯一のレギュラーイベント”nagomi at.AoyamaZero”のレジデントとして活躍中である。

多くの経験を積み2015年、山中湖にて”SAWAGI FESTIVAL”を発足させ、同時に、代々木公園にて開催されている”Spring Love 春風”にて運営チームの一人として活動している。
2019年にはアート集団#BCTIONと自身のプロジェクトの融合を成功させ、今後の展開にますます注目が上がっている。

今後の活躍が期待されるDJ/プロデューサーである。

To celebrate one year of doing parties together and with Secretsundaze & Friends on the horizon, we thought it was about time to get cozy and clang out a mix. So here it is...Fergus and Cam on a four hour one for one bedroom slam jam. 

Catch us doing something similar on 16 March at Pickle Factory where we have the pleasure of warming up for local antiheroes, Giles Smith and James Priestley. We’ll be packing spare pants for the nerves and warm tins of Guinness to roll in St. Patrick’s Day xx
