I’ll keep this short and sweet fam.

I’ve been making music since I’m a kid, it’s my favorite thing to do and a deeply important part of my life. Like many musicians I suffer from a chronic condition which causes me to dislike what I make somewhere around the 85% finished mark. This has resulted in a trove of unreleased tracks that have been piling up on my hard drive for a few years now. I recently had to switch laptops, and in the process found myself really happy with the tracks I was digging up, simultaneously patting myself on the back for their quality and kicking myself for not giving them the light of day.

So came this mix: two hours of original material I made over the past two years or so. I’m super proud of it and so glad these lil guys, which all have my heart in them, can make their way into the world.

A note on the recording: as these tracks are unmastered, I often had to adjust the gain on the fly. The studio compressor was pretty kicking, which resulted in a certain lo-fi quality to the mix. Actually works rather well, I think!
