2pole. Diesen Namen dürften Techno-Fans dieses Jahr häufiger gelesen haben, denn die beiden Musiker sorgen derzeit für mächtig Betrieb auf den Tanzflächen. Von Adam Beyer über Tale of Us bis zu Ida Engberg spielten sämtliche Größen der Szene ihre Tracks in den kleinen Clubs und auf den großen Floors der Festivals. Angesichts der letzten Monate ist es also nicht vermessen zu sagen, dass Marcus Schmal und Mark Ullrich aka 2pole zu den Newcomern des Jahres gehören. Wir trafen die beiden für unser neues Porträt.

In questa edizione della Rebel Selection vogliamo proporre un artista tanto misterioso quanto meritevole, il suo nome d'arte è DSTM (@dstm_music).
Artista che da poco si è creato questo alias ma che già ha raggiunto risultati impressionanti nel mondo dell'elettronica contemporanea, sia a livello di popolarità sia a livello di pura underground music culture. 
Dstm sceglie di presentarsi al pubblico con un passamontagna bicolore, come a voler nascondere la sua vera identità, molti pensano che sia solo un effetto scenico, altri invece ritengono sia una scelta impostata dal producer dietro quella maschera. Le sue produzioni infatti sono qualitativamente eccelse e molti ritengono che si tratti di un produttore già affermato in altri generi che vuole dar sfogo anche al suo lato più rave, caratterizzato da una fast techno con melodie spesso fluttuanti.
Oltre all'ascolto del Set consigliamo l'ascolto delle sue produzioni, in particolare "Barat" e il suo ultimo disco "Bitter Sugar" che sono tra le nostre preferite.

Hideyoshi Biography

HIDEYOSHI was born in Tokyo. From a very young age, he went almost every day to the nightclubs, where he was influenced by music and images, and where his sensitivity was polished.

It was an occurrence in Shibuya. Light poured into HIDEYOSHI's body that woken up to express with an image, and it begun by self-education to study an image. Neither sleep nor a meal was unenthusiastic ally taken just because it was devoted to image work.

Such a sense and the gain in popularity got him greatest support from Director TAKESHI KITANO.
In a movie “Zatoichi”, where he did a remix work, and at Venice International Film Festival, his work shown at the convention hall and it played a role in the Golden Lion award, which is the highest honour.
