Description:
Music is colorful, diverse and vibrant as the butterflies. Almost 180,000 different species live in 127 families. The music by Boris Brejcha is like a "Feuerfalter" (copper). On one side the butterfly is relaxing and floating on the wind, but on the other hand he also sets with steam and fire to a fall into a low altitude. This is how it feels when Brejcha makes music.

The fourth album is exactly the description of this "Feuerfalter", a kind of backflash into the impressive career of Boris Brejcha. An album that deliberately shows how the artist works versatile. Times slightly floating, sometimes wild hitting the wing, always full of passion. The influences of his travelings and performances characterize his art again.

This creates a music that may be accompanied on Brejchas audience the whole day: at home, in a relaxed atmosphere or just at night, when the trip through the clubs starts. On the album "Feuerfalter" this individuality is turned on. Brejcha even picks up the desire of his ans to weave a few quieter tracks into his cosmos.

Herzblut boss Stephan Bodzin hands a label debut to a production duo who are on the rapid rise to stardom.

French artist Teho and Canadian comrade Van Did have joined forces on the Hope EP. Combining their talents for building powerful and emotional soundscapes, the duo have crafted a brace of impressive originals backed by two exclusive edits of lead track Hope, that visit opposite ends of the sound spectrum.

It’s little wonder that Teho & Van Did's music has found support from the likes of Applescal, Hernan Cattaneo, Moonbeam and Deepfunk, and Hope is a perfect example of their immersive, multilayered sound. Warm bassline, enchanting strings and escalating horn melody make for an epic opener. Their Knockout Edit sees the pair boosting their original weighty synths while their Laidback Edit, as the name suggests, takes Hope on a far more downtempo yet hugely powerful cinematic path.

Putsch is the second original on the release and is aimed firmly that the largest arenas and festival stages. Galloping drums and rising siren sees that Putsch peaks, and prepares the floor for take off.

Completing the release is a remix of Hope from German producers Microtrauma who deliver a deeper rework that still retains the energy of the original.

The second track Apart starts out a lot sweeter than the first. A soft kick accompanied by a crispy shaker slowly introduces a clever arpeggio sound. Then a mellow deep bass comes in, which keeps on growing in power in the break. At the drop everything comes together, echoing plucks, the arpeggio that seems to be talking throughout the entire track and a bassline that keeps on changing and moving. A very strong track all together!

‘Maasai’ is the Thirty-second release of Aftertech Records. For this the Berlin duo Techno Frühstück returns to the label, together with Modest Crow. Which resulted into an excellent combination of power, groove and melody. This powerful EP is topped off with amazing remixes by Alex Preda and Ariose.

The title track Maasai will be a killer track on the dancefloor. African screams fill the air while a deep growling bassline makes the ground tremble. It has a dark feeling to it yet it is very upbeat. Ominous specials effects and crystal droplets are the perfect addition to the feel of this track. For us it is clear, this track will turn many clubs upside-down!
