Genosidra's upcoming release, named HAXAN TEK, is a daring exploration of tambora rhythms from Colombian, Venezuelan, and Dominican traditions. Seven tracks weave a tapestry of puya, Chandé, Venezuelan tambora, merengue, bambuco, and Son, distorted into a distinctive sound. It's a powerful invocation to carnival demons, a feast of darkness, and incendiary passions. The album stands as a sonic experience, utilizing digital tools to amplify the ferocity of folkloric beats.

The artist draws inspiration from diverse influences—exotic synthetic tones, tribal energy, and the rhythmic frenzy of footwork. HAXXAN TEK emerges as an exorcism of rhythm, preserving and enhancing the raw essence of Latinx music. The album's foundation lies in manipulated recordings of drums and surfaces, creating a primal, otherworldly sonic landscape.

As co-director of TVL REC and as a member of the new generation of Hiedrah Club de Baile artists, Quebrada has pioneered experimental music in Latin America, hosting events and festivals that bridge diverse artistic voices. HAXXAN TEK, a testament to Genosidra's innovative spirit, promises to ignite dance floors with its devilish beats.

Hiedrah is an argentine musical board based in Buenos Aires. Since 2013 we promoted the singularity of identity and cultural minorities in Latin America in order to create a new libertarian policy concerning the joy of bodies. In a constant dispute against the neo colonialist process in our region, we look forward to produce, explore and give visibility to the miscegenation and ritual experience of our ancestors. Today, our learning has leaded us to develop a management link with other artistic and militant boards of the continent.
