In a not too distant future Deep Scan Technologies, a once high functioning enterprise at the forefront of computer tech descends into worn-torn collapse. With their signature product the Deep Scan SSD being shipped out with a mysterious defect that left the masses with a security vulnerability. Data and information lost its value spiralling the world into economic collapse. A few scientists at the Deep Scan Technologies team remain and try to pick up the pieces of a world forgotten. A prototype for the Solid State Drive 2 is found by cyborg scouring the wasteland for remains. The relic taken back to a secure Deep Scan lab deep underground. These are the results of the analysation.

yibai must have clenched his teeth around a hundred thousand times in his sleepwhile making these tracks between March 2022 and November 2023. His rawest and darkest works yet, they represent taking it one day at a time – seven different coping mechanisms with only a vague idea of what they are truly coping with.

They are often interrupted meditations on finding the peace to meditate and serve as stations of trying to hit ‘Force Quit’ on old patterns while gradually entering breath focus territory. This seven-track showcases yibai's background in creating a heterogeneous sound environment, but based mainly on the extreme dynamics of its rhythms.

This is the first full-length album by Budapest-based sound artist yibai, who is joining temporary nites following his 2023 debut EP ‘Rianás’ on EXILES. Track 7 “Abrupt Clenching Tightness” previously appeared on the EXILES VA “Healer”. The project also serves as the first physical release for both the artist and the label.
