These are ominous words for a world in violence. 

I first heard this track on Superstar Dj Keoki's (@that-fucker-dj-keoki) mix for Journey by DJs in 1994. I can't tell you how many times I rocked this CD, and still do to this day, because it might be one of my favorite mixes. I take the same acapella he plays over Omycron's "Whaler" as a homage to his iconic trance mix.

Tygre 020 // RA-BASS

Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (@djtygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys. Going back to the glory days of Front club until nowadays a regular of Golden Pudel, Dieter never lost track of finding and keeping an immense Panorama of different music and genres, all reflected in his immense output of high quality mixes.

Which brings us to this mix of fast paced electro, old and new - all   go with the flow in his special Dieter-style. Something to heat up a dancefloor to its melting point, at least in our opinion.

Electronic Convergence Mix - April 2024

Andreas started djing in 1995, creating mix tapes and playing drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene from 1997 to 2000 under the moniker "Tygre." Inspired by the darker sounds of electro, techno and drum and bass Tygre returns from a long hiatus to share his love for the music and art of mixing. Andreas currently resides in San Francisco and studies computer science.
In this mix, dark and stormy electro twists through a landscape of distorted bass and resolves in a post vortex calm.

The hardware-based producer & DJ is responsible for releases like "Acid Booty EP" (2019) and "Acid Booty II" (2022) on Source Material and two releases on Zement including a killer EP by him and Alonzo from 2023. His latest is "Mythical Realm" (2024) on KRI- front to back heaters! Ole Mic Odd is the label boss of The New U.S. Government.

NI66 | Ole Mic Odd

From the deep depths of Detroit’s East Side, comes Shawescape Renegade who sometimes go by just Shawescape or in conversations, Shaw, for short. An Electro Enthusiast to his hearts core, he’s very familiar around the corners of Detroit Electro. Shaw’s first official vinyl record debut was in 2018, releasing solely on his own, to now having his own record label, Andromeda Galaxies 313 with many future projects on the horizon, set to land in 2024 and 25. He will be in Berlin this year, all of August and September and he’s also set to head to Spain in October, looking to level the playing field with a bit more Electro on the grounds.
