Following the success of last year’s critically acclaimed album Puzzles — which these past months received standout remixes from Justin Strauss and Kasper Bjørke himself — the next reimagining is here. 

This time, it’s from none other than Berlin underground luminary Johannes Albert, a driving force in the contemporary house and Italo disco scene.

Albert’s remix of Conversations featuring Icelandic trio Sísý Ey (also known as Systur) showcases the finesse of an experienced producer. 

He masterfully preserves the emotional weight of the track’s strong vocal melody while reimagining it with a Cologne-inspired blend of house and techno melancholy. The result is a late-night and early-morning anthem, primed for dancefloor transcendence.
Albert revealed that during an early test run of the remix in a club setting, the reaction among the crowd was unmistakable: lighters held high on the dancefloor — a signal that he was on to something special.

Over the past few years Jakob has become an influential figure in the Stuttgart scene, running events with his Midnight Service crew and playing alongside acts like Johannes Albert, Marie Lung and Panthera Krause. When he’s not been playing live he’s been notching up acclaimed releases on Frank Music, Zissou, Skylax and Berlin Bass Collective as well as his own Constant Change imprint.

Title-track ‘Sparkling’ kicks off the EP with crunchy percussion and rounded bass notes. Classic piano lines interplay with spiralling synths and acid hooks while echoing snare hits drive you through this peak-time track.

'Enjoy The Light’ blends modern Deep House sounds with club-focussed 90’s nostalgia. Low slung drums and shuffling percussion bounce alongside bright keys and breathy angelic vocals while spaced out synth licks unfold across the track giving an added sense of depth and warmth.

basement House was initially established in 2005 and was originally known as a label and party organizer . it has since evolved into a duo consisting of Robin Rahardian and Ical Tadjoedin.

Robin and Ical discovered their passion for electronic music white in high school. Their mutual musical affinity allows them to complement each other perfectly despite their differing musical styles.

This album will feature 10 tracks, including 3 brand new tracks created in 2021, along with unreleased tracks and those previously Released but not available on digital streaming platforms.

Basement House’s music is an intriguing blend of Acid, Electronica Techno Disco, and House music Influences.

The album wil be released through LeftrightSound and we (Basement House) are excited to contribute to the growth of the record label.

Influenced initially by Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream and Art of Noise, Endrik Schroeder discovered a passion for techno, electro and Italo Disco sounds.  After sereval techno releases for imprints  such as Interface records ( charted by Laurent Garnier  or Dave Clarke to name a few), Endrik returns with more Italo influences and just released a Brillant and strong  EP « Everyday of Your Life » on Zone Records,  the label of The Hacker.

Having a big collection of  music of the 70’s and 80’s Endrik listened one day to « Les Nuits sans Kim Wilde » an French Italo song of 1985 by Laurent Voulzy a famous french songwriter & singer  and thought about actualizing it with a modern touch and some new instruments to include it in his dj sets but keeping the original mood and work it with respect.

Et voilà !  An amazing Edit full of Italo Disco vibes ready to make people dance and travel back to this magical period . Expect the unexpected !
