Replikants are a five-piece from Brighton influenced by a mutual love of funk, hip-hop and rock as well as 80s sci-fi movies. 

Originally formed in 2014 by bassist MkGore (Mike Gorham), guitarist Tekken (Dave Tattam) and drummer Da Kilva (Luis da Silva) as a blues-reggae three-piece, Replikants' search for a permanent vocalist led them to Evak (Eva Pliskauskaite). 

Jokah (Joshua Payne) joined in November 2015 on keys, synth and trumpet to complete the five-piece. Around this time Replikants' style shifted to incorporate rap and rock elements creating the funky hip-rock sound they are currently producing. 

Their debut EP 'Pinstripe Suit' was released in 2015 and the band are currently producing more songs as well as gigging regularly around Sussex.

Result of many travels and a tireless curiosity, the music of Alizarina has got hypnotic power. It settles in your body, whirls in your head, and might ultimately be as one with your inner self. Alizarina experiments a brand new music matter. 
His Live set, with a charming clarinet and intoxicating machines, will make you lose control. Sensitive, subtle and poetic, this alchemist offers you an outstretched hand to his world.Heady melodies, inspired arrangements and stomping acid basslines shape a deep and energic music, haunted by the improvisations of the clarinet. 

After a first and acclaimed album "Melodic Blossom" in 2016, he released earlier this year a new EP with spanish producer MiRET, and he has been collaborating with interesting artists such as Mamazu (Japan), Tuğçe Kurtiş (Turkey), bulgarian polyphony choir Vadé and circus group Cie Sacorde.
