Downtempo rhythmics and silky grooves coming from the Los Angeles-based Warehouse Preservation Society duo. We've been keeping a watchful eye on these two ever since their "Multitude Of Sin" landed on Machine Limited a couple years ago. Since then they've had some pretty spectacular outings, the latest of which being a 3-track EP for Futureboogie Recordings. With an eye on the release we asked the duo to deliver a mix and they've responded in style.

Luigi knows Ant Bangos vibe pretty well (been there done that) so the ultimate love can be fully felt in every minute of this well-balanced mix.

Jorkes is one half of the label Freeride Millenium with Daniel Rajcsanyi. As a producer she uses a variety of sounds and ideas that have been released so far on Ombra International, Super Drama Records and Freeride Millenium. She holds a residency at the Romantica club in Stuttgart and a monthly show at Radio 80000 in Munich. Her sounds have a romantic approach to party, be it in every safe space you want to imagine.

Tech Support always finds a groove in everything he touches. Be that through his DJ sets, mixes or his own productions, there's a rhythmic fluidity and depth that always guides his way.

He never confines himself to one sound or style but there's a distinct nod to the 80s in his influences and output; be assured you'll find lashings of Italo, vintage darkwave, euphoric house and slo mo chug when he's behind the decks or laying it down in the studio.

His work rate as a producer has been on the up over the last few years. If he's not sharing his solo work, which has formed releases for Nocturne, Together Alone, Futureboogie, Silver Bear and, most recently Ano Ano, he's crafting his own self-released edits and reworks of legendary new beat, new wave and Italo Disco tracks like 'Burning Down The House', 'Je Suit Passee' and 'Drop The Deal'. Lately he's been making music under another alias, Asa Tate, with a track penned for this year's Rhythm Section SHOUTS compilation. 

For his Shine A Light On mix, he dives into the sounds we've come to know him for: there's revving Italo, hypnotic Goa, groovy acid not acid and dusty progressive trance. Dig in...

now weekend of 5 gigs makes you go deep into your crates and folders. this is the opening of the night at opium club on August 14 2020. lots of music here from some 4-5 years back, a territory that is somehow usually forgotten. lots of these tracks appeared in old mixes, but it felt good playing them out again. have a ride.

His style is romantic, often referencing Italo and sounds of Chicago, sometimes even with a hint of eurodisco. In his lyrics however, he tends to describe the easy jet-set world of clubbing as we knew it before lockdown, with drugs, sex and dark dance floors.
