Gert started his professional career as 'Dubois'  known from DJ & Producer duo Dulac & Dubois ( ''Turning'' & ''Move On''  released @ Magic Island / Armada music and ''Break of Dawn'' released @ SINE Music)
His mission was to stir mesmerizing trance elements with rousing house into delicious cocktails of dancefloor anthems.
Away from studios Gert pleased crowds as a DJ in many countries around the globe.
To mention just a few; The Netherlands, Brazil, France, Belgium, Germany, Dubai... the list goes on.
With over 16 years electronic music experience Gert decided to concentrate also on the production of score and so called 'Ambient' music. One of his latest projects was the cooperation on the 'I AM Hardwell' movie. 
Gert also works under several aliases as ghostproducer and together with his mate 'Matthijs' (Above All records) he's producing progressive trance under the alias 'Spark & Shade'. It will stay a mystery who's Spark and who's Shade. Even for them!
