About StanV
StanV, a.k.a. Stijn Vermeulen, is a progressive trance producer based in Belgium with an innovative style that blends a modern sensibility with traces of the melodic and atmospheric trance of the early 2000s. He has released tracks on Above All Records and has an upcoming release on the legendary trance label High Contrast Recordings. Drawing influence from artists including Eric Prydz, CamelPhat, Grum as well as talent such as Andrew Bayer, StanV has gained a lot of ground in his career over the last couple of years and is planning to have a big 2020. He layers haunting melodies over hypnotic beats with the touch of a fully-developed recording artist who knows who he is and exactly where he’s going. 

A 90s kid, StanV came up on music from Tiësto, back when he was stilled called DJ Tiësto. The Belgian connection was never far away, however, with acts like Push, Fiocco, Sylver and The Mackenzie being part of his daily listening routine. Visiting Tiësto In Concert in 2004 at the mere age of 12 resulted in him knowing at once what he’d be doing for many years to come. He was a bedroom DJ at first but, over time, discovered he liked producing and creating music more than simply playing it. A self-taught musician, he makes tracks by feel, alone, and lives by the idea that goosebumps never lie. Crafting his own sound, StanV aspires to become one of the most crucially artistic producers on the international scene and needs to be heard by anyone seeking the future of progressive trance.

Dutch duo Hel:sløwed makes a welcome return to Flashover, having been on quite the musical journey since their original ‘Flashed’ landed in spring ’22. Sounds like Michael de Kooker and Misja Helsloot have yet to stop and take a rest from exploring the boundaries of what’s trance, now rocking the label with the deeper, tech-influenced ‘Want Me’ – a one-of-a-kind collab with rising talent JNSN.Having built an impressive discography and securing an instantly recognizable sound, the second you press play on ‘Want Me’, you know you’re dealing with a Hel:sløwed original. 

Joined forces with Florida-based DJ/producer Charles Jensen, making name under his JNSN moniker, they bring a massive, rolling bassline and tight sub that’s bound to get those heart rates up. It’s the melodic touch and old-school, almost hoover-like influences that make ‘Want Me’ stand out though. A cross-over gem, that earns a spot in DJ sets all across the electronic playground, balancing techno, progressive, and trance alike. Jono Grant & Harry Diamond remix JODA’s ‘Spark’, out now on Anjunabeats.

2022 was a big year for Jono Grant and Darren Tate, aka JODA. Grant is one-third of Above & Beyond who, throughout a two-decade career, have established themselves as one of the biggest electronic groups in the world. In 2019, Above & Beyond received an offer to score an environmental documentary, ‘The Last Glaciers’. He enlisted classically trained musician, songwriter, producer, hitmaker and close friend Darren Tate, and the duo got stuck into composing together.

It became a dream project all around – not least because it sparked further ideas. JODA was born. Working in Tate’s studio in suburban north London, and A&B’s south London HQ, the pair were in a creative bubble during the early days of the pandemic. And the partnership proved fruitful. 

Their self-titled album ‘JODA’, celebrating the musical influences that Jono and Darren grew up with, was released on Anjunabeats in August 2022 – to a rapturous reception from the Anjunafamily and beyond. The album shot to #1 on the iTunes US Dance chart and has since seen over 10 million combined streams.

Brighton native Harry Diamond first appeared on Anjunabeats with ‘Electrified’, a 2011 collaboration with Darren Tate and Nicolai. His last Anjunabeats release, ‘Run From The Night’ with ADZ and Trills, earned support from Armin van Buuren, Farius, Marcus Santoro, Mark Sixma, Ben Malone, Judge Jules, Leena Punks, Tritonal and Vonda7.

Harry Diamond and Jono Grant’s bombastic take on JODA’s ’Spark’ has seen consistent support at Above & Beyond’s recent shows across North America, Canada and more.

GRAMMY-nominated DJ and production duo Gabriel & Dresden return to Anjunabeats with ‘Kinetic Cinema’.

Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden, aka Gabriel & Dresden, have earned a dedicated and unwavering fanbase over the past two decades of their career. Renowned for their timeless and emotional records, the GRAMMY-nominated production duo underpinned modern trance with hits like ‘As The Rush Comes’, ‘Beautiful Things’ and ’Tracking Treasure Down.’
