Sumer is one of the cradles of civilization of the world, dating back as far as 5500 BC. It's one the earliest known civilizations, located in the southernmost part of Mesopotamia, between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, in the area that later became Babylonia and is now southern Iraq. 

Enki is the Sumerian god of water, knowledge, wisdom, magic and creation, as well as one of the Anunnaki. Enki, sometimes depicted as a man covered with the skin of a fish is considered the master shaper of the world.
