James Mahu, writer, artist, composer and musician, is devoted to the scientific discovery of the human soul. In 1998 he launched the first transmedia site on the internet called WingMakers.com. This was not an experimental site, but rather a deep conversation on the nature of reality and human purpose. WingMakers.com, on the surface, was a collection of philosophical writings, poetry, art and music as integral elements of a powerful narrative. Underneath, was the larger conversation dealing with quantum worlds—realities unseen and undiscovered. James' music, art, and writings delve into these worlds with unabashed curiosity and its faithful partner: insight.  

The Reliance is a debut EP by the instrumental progressive metal project Higher Place, which was released in 2012 (as completed). This project was created by me Jirka Sedlák (guitar - lead, rhythm), then Lubomir Schmied (bass) was involved to the work of the musical material early in 2009. Later in 2012 I was contacted by the drummer Daniel Reichel (Nias), who was partly participated in the track "Break The Seventh Seal". The sound and style of writing is based on technical death metal, neoclassical and other elements...
