Solo debut by multi-instrumentalist Manuel Chittka. The Love-Songs, Jungstötter and Pantha du Prince associated drummer creates two compositions of intimate beauty. EIGENMODEN is both, rhythm-based, and at the same time softly swayed by modular electronics. Making this release a personal and contrasting accentuation of contemporary Minimalism, Ambient and Jazz. The music was recorded in Hamburg-Altona and Berlin-Marzahn and mastered by Italian film composer Giuseppe Ielasi.

The project is based on tighter audio connections between several artists living in different places (Georgia, Iceland). Being inspired by the whispering game Telephone, we are creating a chain of author's audio-works, which responds to each other. We have selected 9 young artists from both countries, who are interested in radio art or sound art. The first artist from the chain produced a sound work that will be shared with the second artist from another country. The following produced work will be like a response to the work and will be shared with the third artist from the chain etc. The artists are having a week to produce the responsive content / audio gesture. The works are part of a weekly program of Community Radio Tbilisi and Seyðisfjörður Community Radio.

The aim of the project was to connect the individual artists through the radio works, shift the passivity of the listeners to more active roles, create and interesting radio content based on experimental approach and support exchange and collaboration between artists and radio stations.

MU Pt. 5 [Mu_1 LP] (Album in Description)

This record is the documentation of Andrés Saenz de Sicilia's performance in the car garage of Villa Lontana on 21 September 2018. A Roman necropolis of more than 160 tombs dating back to the first half of the 1st century BC was recently rediscovered under the concrete garage. The sounds for ’21-9-18’ were built upon a quadrophonic sound system, designed to respond to the physical environment of Villa Lontana’s garage, later rendered to stereo by the artist for the production of this record. The sounds produced consider different senses of weight, density, and time and include a text-sound collaboration between Andrés Saenz de Sicilia and Adam Green, writer, artist and editor of ‘The Public Domain Review’.

'21-9-18' is the first LP to be released by Villa Lontana Records. Andrés Saenz de Sicilia is a founding member of London-based trio Pataphysical who released their debut LP ‘Periphera’ with Glasgow based record label 12th Isle earlier this year.

Every winter I dive into exploration of my inner self, with no reasons. I find interest in my consciousness, my inner world, I feel delighted as if I’m watching the sky through telescope or wild animals in the woods. When it happened for the first time, I felt like a new person afterwards, but summer’s energy brought me back to who I was. And in winter it repeated. Going through this made me see the bigger picture. It’s like I’m watching some complex mechanism function. And if I just were a bird, I would find out all the tiny details of such a simple process like bird migration. 

Last winter it was exactly like that. January brought the longing for tranquility at first. Then the world became a fuss and the time stood still. I dived deeper and deeper inside as if I were on the other side of the space. And being on that adventures plateau, I created this composition, with no rush, no notice, naturally. 

It is divided into 3 parts, doesn’t ask you for anything, adapts to the atmosphere and loves it, but if you listen attentively, It takes you to the never-land.

I’m a producer and music editor that’s been making things and art for 7 years, in which currently, I’m stating from 2024. A couple years ago, I accidentally slashed my right index finger’s tendon, which left my finger unable to bend from the first bending joint, but I still am able to bend my finger at a functional level enough to play lots of several instruments like the piano, the beat pad, and percussion. I’d say it’s quite harder to keep in tune, and play flexibly and directively easier, but I still conduct, and love to make music because I’m in love with music.

Things’ll get better maybe… It’s okay (: 

… Sometimes, I’m all alone — and that’s okay i guess, because… everything is okay. Things get better with time. And whenever I don’t have to be alone anymore, or whenever I am alone, I just revisit myself, who i can talk to whenever I want. True friend. To talk to a true friend, you, all that you need to do is listen to your heart and your feelings, or talk or think to yourself something, just like if you were talking to someone, and share a statement or sound to you like they’re are two of you but your both yourself and so much that you both are, either, as one or several connected. You could just say something, and then simply reply back. You could ask “How are you doin?” to yourself, and then, in true ability, and the law of conversation you need only know what yourself asked you, and the double sided connection that is between you and you (short or long-distance relationship circumstances between self-symbiotic life), to simply answer to the messages and notes you, or even as well as, or possibly instead inner you (your conscious combined with your feelings, or/and soul) sent your self, or left yourself, and say something back. You might be able to hear your words to yourself fully clearly though, but it’s great to know about both ways of receiving Your message. 

You both might agree on certain things, or a lot of things but there will be in fact one person you’ll be talking to __ఌ 

Depression and loneliness used to feel like it was driving me insane, and insanely sad, so much that I began to feel like I couldn’t take it in my heart anymore, and just wanted to die. I’ve made a few decisions sometimes to let go momentarily…you know of life, and breathing, and holding on in this world but look at me today ( :  

This world could get dark, and hectic, and hellish— even when you’re just supposed to be living free and happy. Life hurts sometimes… and seems unfair sometimes maybe. It’s okay. Sometimes I wish this was all over. All the bad stuff in life gone. And the world became a dream… it’d be great 😌

The world is changing. What may seemed to be real, maybe was not, and maybe never existed. But some does. Or it could—…. When you need it.

Only time now.
