There is a pain that burns so deeply in the soul
that it makes life whisper and calls for the end.
A wish that, like a dark stream, moves through the head –
quiet, but unstoppable, full of longing for eternal rest.
Yet in the midst of this lostness, hope awakens
that someone is there who stays out of love.
Someone who silently holds the hands
when the world breaks apart,
and in the silence gives safety
so that the heart does not become allone silent.

Es gibt einen Schmerz, der so tief in der Seele brennt, dass er das Leben zum Flüstern bringt und nach dem Ende ruft. Ein Wunsch, der wie ein dunkler Strom durch den Kopf zieht – leise, aber unaufhaltsam, voller Sehnsucht nach ewiger Ruhe. Doch inmitten dieser Verlorenheit erwacht die Hoffnung, dass jemand da ist, der aus Liebe bleibt. Jemand, der schweigend die Hände hält, wenn die Welt zerbricht, und in der Stille Geborgenheit schenkt, damit das Herz nicht ganz allein verstummt.

Pain

This track was a challenge on a number of levels. I wanted to do something along the lines of David Holmes and Chris Joss, but was also wanting to keep things a little more along the lines of the Orb. It turned out more the former but I'm happy with it.

So here you have it; a bit of Funk, with a dash of eccentricity.
