The ever-evolving Dutch underground electronic music scene has been developing some of the world’s most exciting talent for the past 20 years or so. Even though Amsterdam has been the proverbial center and place where most of the events have been happening, cities like Rotterdam, Utrecht, and The Hague have had their fair share of contributing to the vibrant musical landscape in Holland. 

Lisbon born, Utrecht based, Nuno Dos Santos, is one of the staples of the Dutch scene and indeed, the figure that many young and upcoming artists look up to. Nuno belongs to a small group of forward-thinking artists that continuously keep pushing the sound and style of electronic music to a different level. Whether it is through his imprints Something Happening Somewhere (SoHaSo) and OOSSHA, well-curated events, or his mind-bending eclectic sets, Nuno never plays a ‘safe card’ and keeps things fresh and exciting. With Nuno, one thing is constant above all, and that is quality. 

We are delighted to have the opportunity to feature this phenomenal mix that checks all the boxes mentioned above. Without going into genre definitions, let’s say that this timeless mix is an ideal partner for these surreal times we currently live in. 
Hats off to you Nuno, you’ve done it again.

Anja Zaube utilizes this aspect well, whether it be through her blissfully cathartic DJ sets or her intentional and well-executed live sets. Here we are presented with the latter,  an excursion into the depths of Anja's personal sonic universe that brings us into the elements and out of the body. Layered with thickets of field recordings, live synth work, and delicately pulsating percussion, it plays as one long-form piece that gradually shifts and seduces the mind. With close ties to ://about blank and the Berlin underground, Anja channels a certain mystique and sound that is characteristic of all that goes on here. deutschland canceln | shutdown soundtracks was the very last event at ://about blank in 2020 - and erik jäähalli gave us this powerful live set as the most beautiful parting gift for a long winter which is still ahead of us all. 

with his live set, erik prepared us musically for the demolition of the garden dancefloor which took place that night - a touching and powerful moment for everyone around that night, reflecting on the fragility and transience of club culture in these times, where everything only appears as a faint reminiscence of what we used to know - but will hopefully become as powerful again as the music played that night.
