Xevious Beats Mix

This is an album of experimental solo guitar "haikus" I wrote in 2010. I was listening to a lot of Keiji Haino and Autechre at the time, and moving away from the band-centric, progressive rock music I had written with my old band Blue Sky Theory. 

It was something of a rebirth for me as a writer, and I was very proud of it... but alas, it coincided with a nervous breakdown and I never shared it with anyone outside of a few friends and family. I remember fantasizing about dropping it off anonymously in Keiji Haino's hands with a thank you note attached.

The title is a reference to a Yukio Mishima book/movie, and means "conflagration"

You know, this song took me weeks to get down just to be turned down. (no hard feelings, the mixing/EQing on the original submission was horrible).

What took me the longest is creating this genuine piece of cover art. Nothing says more than being an underdog in album submission competitions.

Heart Attack

I've been on/off writing some original Survival Horror music! Here's a Save Room theme, to put you at ease... at least until you exit out the door!

I tried having some droning/chattering synths in the background to give some ambience. Let me know how I did! ;)

I've also been playing RE2make nonstop, so it was good to dive back into all of the piano sketches I had of Survival Horror tracks and bring one of them to life.
