Scott met Guadalajara based vocalist Anahali while scrolling his Instagram feed on a chill pandemic day. The video she posted from her bedroom in Mexico sparked the goosebumps that led to their collaborative journey combining elements of her folk medicine song with deep driving bass and percussion. Almost one year later they met in person in Mexico to film their first music video, framing the beauty of Anahalli's home country with the majesty of their musical creation.

From start to finish, this 9-track album takes you on a captivating sonic journey, while also offering a glimpse into the rich history of ancient cultures. In a world where electronic music can sometimes feel saturated and redundant, Mah Ze Tar and I wanted to bring something fresh and unique to the table.
