Movement Recordings proudly presents the debut EP from Delhi based artist Tagmusic. Titled Agaman, the release features two original productions and a remix from one of the genre's most respected figures, D Formation.

Tagmusic, the creative alias of Tushar Agrawal, is a DJ and producer whose sound bridges Progressive House and Melodic Techno. With Agaman, he makes a powerful first statement on Movement Recordings, presenting two club focused originals that balance groove, melody, and emotion.

Let Go opens the EP with a driving rhythm and lush progressive layers that gradually build into a deep, hypnotic journey, while Stiff explores a more energetic and club oriented direction. The latter features a clever use of vocal phrasing that adds to its late night appeal, a vocal that also plays a central role in D Formation's remix.

Delivering a masterful rework, D Formation transforms Stiff into a peak time anthem with his trademark melodic power and hypnotic tension. A figure synonymous with quality electronic music, D Formation, also known as Dimas Carbajo, stands as one of the most influential Spanish producers in the global scene. With more than 25 years in the industry, he has released on iconic labels such as Yoshitoshi, Toolroom, Nervous, Stereo Productions, Baroque, and of course his own Beatfreak Recordings, Spain's pioneering underground imprint since 1997.

A veteran of the world's top clubs and festivals, D Formation continues to inspire with a signature sound that blends energy, sophistication, and melodic emotion. His contribution to Agaman elevates the EP into a complete package, merging Tagmusic's fresh creative energy with his timeless experience.

Movement Recordings continues to spotlight forward thinking talent from around the world, connecting new artists with established visionaries in the progressive and melodic underground.

Extraordinary pieces of music have long stood in direct correlation to the physical surroundings that inspire them. When Oliver Koletzki and Niko Schwind packed up their Berlin studios last April to spend a month locked away in a cottage nestled in the stunning nature of Cape Town’s Noordhoek area before heading to AfrikaBurn, little did they know that its long beaches, dramatic mountain views and the heritage of its indigenous people would have such a profound effect on the club-ready sound they had championed with a string of EPs and live-performances since 2015. The result of four weeks of geo-cultural stimuli and creative experimentation culminated in the album Noordhoek, released in May 2018 on Stil vor Talent.

While the productions on Noordhoek display the same on-point sound design of previous Oliver Koletzki and Niko Schwind releases, the impressive emotional depth and electronic floor-focus of its twelve tracks effortlessly merge with complex rhythmic textures to form a contemporary narrative on ancient dance rituals. After a roller coaster ride through twelve versatile yet coherent productions, one thing is certain as the ultimate crack of thunder crashes down on Noordhoek: South Africa fuelled the creative energy of two remarkable musicians, who where able to translate the abundance of their impressions into a truly original world of sound.
