JACOB PHONO, a Danish, Berlin-based DJ/Producer is DJ'ing his way mainly through the European music scene and crawling up the Top 10 best selling tracks on Beatports Minimal and Tech House charts on Beatport. He has been collaborating with numerous artists and hosted various parties always with a profound love for the twisted dark dancefloors.

JENS BOND has carved a niche for himself in the crowded world of electronic music through his exceptional ear for finely constructed and balanced rhythms. As a result, the Berlin-based DJ and producer is much in demand, both for his skills in rocking dance floors and for his sublime studio productions. Bringing beats to life is his calling card - percussion and grooves are arranged with intense attention to detail, without sacrificing the underlying funk that marks his sound.

Our 20th release on the label comes from long time DH Artist & Florida based gangster, Michael Rosa. It's been a long time since Rosa first showed up at our coldest Desert Hearts Festival to date as a wide-eyed 22 year old with little more than a T-Shirt, thinking he was in for a relaxing weekend in San Diego! But we've all witnessed Rosa's transformation into a world class producer as he steadily pumps out track after track of pure fire. Since the beginning of the label he's been one of our favorite producers and we couldn't be more stoked to release his 2nd EP on Desert Hearts Records
 
With this 4 track EP titled "Abu", we get to see the full spectrum of Michael's sound. From Minimal to Tech House to Funk & everything in between, there's something for everyone in this package. The EP only gets better with an ultra fat techie remix from Jay Tripwire to round the whole thing out. We know you're gonna dig this.

Dalfie joins Gruuv today with three solid club cuts! The Glaswegian producer caught our attention last year with his releases on Pets and Glasgow Underground. His introduction to the scene came as a young teenager when his house music loving dad would take him to raves if he couldn’t get a babysitter. A residency followed in the early part of the millennium at Glasgow’s legendary Arches, and Dalfie has spent the last few years honing his sound in the studio. 

Played by Richy Ahmed on Radio 1 as one of his ‘New Names’ to watch out for in 2017 this EP has also had solid promo support with plays from Monki on BBC Radio 1, Nemone on 6Music, Rinse FM, Kiss, whilst the EP has found favour with DJs including Laurent Garnier, Sante, Tim Green, Catz n Dogz, Doc Martin, Riva Starr, Richy Ahmed, Ray Okpara and Horse Meat Disco to name a few…

PREMIERE: Stereo Express & Lunar Plane - Babayani (Original Mix) [Love Matters]

Two debuts on the label with this outstandingly textured release, is London based producer Third Son, known for his releases with 17 Steps and also kick starting his own successful label Polymath, is joined by rising star Anii, a member of Kompakt family, she has been propelled into the limelight with her deeply emotive and highly creative studio craft.

 First up, their collab track ‘SEM’ is a robust, drum workout with detailed and unique touches. The thud of the 808 kicks perfectly matching the syncopation of the toms and the otherworldly FX transforming nuanced percussion into scattergun sonics. Growing in energy organically, its crescendo makes way for a perfect drop before powering right to the last beat.
