Low Volume is a collaboration between two talented Indian born producers Pawas and Ambrish. The EP features three original tracks including remixes by Nhar and Mastra.

Look behind is a calm and melodic track that develops a wonderful drive with the help of the varied bassline, the acid-infused parts used coming across very playful.
Nhar's remix masterfully takes over the melodic elements of the original but catapults the track back into the eighties with the skillfully reinterpreted synth parts, the concise clap and the vocals.

The minimal house number Apache Gold impresses with its reduction paired with groovy-dubby bassline and a cleverly staged guitar hook.

Topsides, nevertheless more subtle, strings together sophisticated synth parts in a varied way and garnishes them with pads and funky-tinged synth elements.
Mastra's remix focuses more on the calm synth parts, which he uses more concisely and combines with additional rhythm elements.

As we welcome another talented artist to our family we asked Viken about the first part of a two part release and he told us...

"it's really important to understand that this EP is a series of pictures telling a story. Combining the names of all the tracks one gets this interesting and dreamy sentence,'On A Blue Road - A White Shadow - Feels The Winter'.To translate these pictures into music, I needed a very particular sound. Since I am a huge fan of Jazz music I took one of my favorite records, used a lot of samples and reworked them in my own way. From the technical aspect, I decided to reconnect with my first love: analog machines. I love working with sound textures. I stayed away from my laptop and all my VST/Plugins as I felt the need to compose these tracks in an unusual way: I wanted the sound to be really pure. That's the reason why this process was so essential for me. For me, this EP is the first one to sound like this".

This is the first of two releases from a deeply talented soul. A patient collage of house, jazz, acid squiggles and deep emotion. Played and loved all summer long by Lee Burridge at All Day I Dream, these tracks will stay with you through winter and into next summer.

Manjumasi co-founder atish makes his long awaited bow on the production front with his very first solo EP in the form of two original cuts and remixes from Lee Jones and Dance Spirit. Peculiar Colors EP, the fifth release on the imprint, tows the party line in offering a refreshing electronic take across the board. "Coco Buggy" is what my sister called a ladybug when she was a toddler. It's a quirky tune, with a borderline ridiculous organ solo that really makes the most sense at 6am at Kater Blau. So I'm joyed this tune found the perfect home and happy to support the club as all royalty payments contribute to keeping them open until club culture returns.
