All I Want

I recently got an plug-in acoustic electric guitar, so I wanted to try a recording set-up for acoustic covers (or songs). Heading Home, which is one of my favourite songs ever, was also the first song I ever learned to play along to on the guitar (and in a way was actually a motivation for starting guitar since I really wanted to cover it). So doing this cover really feels like I've come around full-circle.

I'm not really that good at guitar at all, but I thought the result was pretty neat, and I'm proud with how this 'performance' turned out! Now that I have a proper guitar set-up, I might start doing more acoustic covers, hopefully getting better at playing and singing at the same time lmao

This was recorded with a Shure SM7B & Fender Redondo Player both plugged into a Focusrite Scarlett Solo, then mixed in FL Studio 21

As my head started to spin and my brain began to numb from the top of my head to the bottom of my chin, I clumsily chugged down water while cursing myself for taking one puff too many. Reality started to morph into unrecognizable shapes, with tables and chairs appearing as mud and walls bending in ways I didn’t know was possible. As the spirals grew larger and larger, engulfing the world around me, I suddenly found myself at the bottom of what seemed like The Void, embodying a human-eating monster and chomping down on screaming women and children as naturally as if they were cereal.
