He wrote his first verse at age 12 after hearing Fabolous. “Can’t deny It”. From there he went on to record 5 mixtapes worth of music which he distributed amongst his peers at school. Due to the great response he was getting on his music, he decided to take his career a bit more serious and released an EP called “Now Until Forever.” Two years later he released his second project “Just Because” which landed him a spot on Hot97's "Who's Next." Songs from the album were played on multiple radio stations like Desert Storm radio and Nonfiction Radio. Since the release of his second project, Cool Boi Av has performed all over the tri-state area, placing 3rd in the ”Rock the Mic” showcase in New York and and winning 1st place at a local artist showcase in Newark,NJ with 15 artists on the bill.
