he always swore that he could swim  
They found him at the bottom of the river bed
fatty rolled over and skinny was dead

I knew a girl by name of Marra
she always swore she could drive a carra
They found her out on route 66
seems she crashed while suckin’ d***s

this pulsating change
that bends the tautness
is the pattern of my pulse,
a deranged flickering

that thing strokes me
I can feel its soft
maddening turns,
scraping under my skin
