Introducing Joe Hertz. 

London based but, like his contemporaries, globally inspired, Joe's sound draws on a heady mix of on point drum programming and tension laced melodies that blur genre boundaries with poise and class, fittingly showcased in his debut single, 'At Your Touch'.

A combination of radiant synths, infectiously swung bass notes and a truly distinctive vocal, the overriding aesthetic is absorbing and blissfully mesmerising. The Yin to its glossy Yang lies between the beats which are steeped with impact throughout. The bottom-end pulses in perfect harmony; tuned kicks, EQ'd with precision, cut through the lower-mid melodies laying rock solid foundations for a subtle groove to evolve.  The mix of its rousing core and lush delivery makes 'At Your Touch' somewhat hard to place but all the more standout for it.

21st century soul with blissed-out Balearic characteristics, simply described 'At Your Touch' is lifestyle music for the modern generation.

Beam is the debut solo release from fast rising LA based producer/DJ duo "Mako." Consisting of Logan Light and Alex Seaver, Mako have formed a finely tuned partnership, despite coming from very different musical backgrounds. Living outside the dance music scene, Seaver studied classical music at Juilliard in New York while Light spent his evenings DJing while attending college in America's Midwest, where he was lucky enough to open for acts like Avicii and Tiesto. The duo, whose father's had been college roommates, met by chance in 2011 and within days were in the studio together. 

After a couple of long evenings, it soon became obvious to both of them that the combination of their skills was something special. Sander Van Doorn heard an early song, "Into The Light" and immediately asked the Mako if he could have it for his next single. The track which was released as a collaboration made Top 5 on Beatport. 

At EDC Las Vegas 2013, Mako met with Revealed Recordings who instantly fell in love with their production and song writing, signing them that week, to release their first solo single Beam. Revealed brought on board Dannic to mix the track. His unique abilities pull together Angel Taylor's lead vocal with an anthemic instrumental hook to create the perfect track for clubs, festivals and radio.

Already a fan favourite and play listed at Sirius FM - Beam promises to be one of Revealed biggest records of the year.

Mako who have recently been in the studio in Los Angeles with Steve Angello and R3hab will be playing shows through the entirety of 2014.

The remix is just a sync combination mash-up between two versions of Stream of Tears (the original and tranced remix) with once loop.

The actual length is only 5 minutes 18 seconds, just putting on loop for Wangan Midnight enthusiasts.

***With the release of Sears Portrait concluding the WMMT Megamix Project, the following is a quick commentary on each mix that comprised the compilation:

Lucas Says aka Special Edition is the first WMMT MegaMix having undergone puberty!  The original structure is intact for the most part.  It just doesn't sound anymore like some clueless bugger who wanted to play DJ for 36 minutes.  No longer having to hide behind the "Demo" apron,  it's clearly what Lucas Says.
