Bio:I love recording music! It gives me inner peace to express myself through music when life drives me to insanity.
I started playing my first instrument at the age of twelve, which was the guitar. The beautiful melodies that I heard John Frusciante create on his guitar inspired me to pick up guitar playing more seriously. I play any instrument I can get my hands on though, including piano, synths and drummachines.
I've had a love affair with music for as long as I can remember, but it wasn't until I got all of my recording gear that I could finally start recording my music.
I take music very seriously and work my ass off on every song I record. Mastering is something that drives me crazy and I probably need a producer's advice and assistance; Which I hopefully will get in time. The gear I typically use is Fender Jaguar guitar, Clavia Nord X2, Roland AX Synthesizer, My Grand Piano, Akai and other Drummachines, Various keyboards and my recording device BR-800CD which is an 8 track.
I guess I've always prefered writing and recording everything by myself because of my obsession with perfection, but I don't mind collabrating with friends every now and then.
I love all kinds of music, a few examples: 80s, Synth Pop, Electronica, Pop, Dance, Rock, Hip Hop, John Frusciante, Prince, Queen, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mika, Eurythmics, Classical, 50s, Horror Soundtracks, Disney Music and many more.

ERIKA emerged from a life coloured by the musical corners of London and Japan. Crafting beautiful and innovative pop, the mood can switch from haunting to joyous and from hope to despair from verse to verse.

Her voice has also caught the attention of some very established artists. She toured with MIKA as his backing singer, provided backing vocals, keyboards & percussion for Skunk Anansie on their recent European Tour (2017) and recorded a guest vocal on two tracks with #1 UK artist, Bastille and Ella Eyre. 
In 2016 Erika self-released her ‘Onna’ EP (meaning woman in Japanese); recorded in Latvia with Latvian #1 band  Instrumenti using a variety of instruments such as tap shoes, flight cases, zips, boom whackers and old organs and pianos. It also saw the release of her very own Onna VR App, which is available for smart phones for free and has video snippets for each song from the EP. Erika is the first unsigned artist to have released a VR app. Teamed with European and UK tours all booked by her fans.
After releasing her the Onna-Bugeisha Trilogy ERIKA will be releasing The Kitsune Collection a bunch of songs over the 2024 to 2025.
