Circles & Stones’ fourth release is a crossover of two worlds, two artists and two very distinct sounds showcased in “Deuce EP”. 

Zurich-based Oilst & Baerg’s original track “Sophia (Original Mix)” expresses the utterly groovy and wonderfully colourful signature sound that is unique in the downtempo scene. A delicious array of analog blips and synth explorations combined with feather-light melodies and bouncy, sub-bass swells is enough to get any listener head-bopping in their seat, walking with a jig in their step or bouncing on the dance floor.

Just a little reinterpreation for my 2019-Liveset @klunkerkranich :)
The original Rabenkind was a little laidback, so I wanted a more danceable/funky version. It is not thaaaat polished (just added the E-Piano I wanted to play live, changed the Kick and did some basic mixing). This release is kind of a "Thank you" for supporting me in 2020 that much :) You will see some more releases from myself and my project @bassaramusic (with the lovely @sahrabass) in the near future!

Half german half italian, half yin half yang, Baerg found his center in highly dancing Zürich (Switzerland). A story common to many: he's been playing music since young age in punk bands or busking, until he moved to Switzerland and was introduced to a whole another electronic scene. Being a part of it, he soon started djing in local clubs, several illegal parties and festivals as part of creative party label "Amphitheater". He is also part of live band Komplement, together with electronic music veteran Pulsaar. In 2019 he started releasing music together with other artist like Oilst and Ilse, on labels like Tonal., Down, Serafin Audio Imprint, Schall and Lauch and more to come.
