Unser heutiger Podcast kommt von unseren Freunden von Gedankenklang e.V. … genauer gesagt von Zenoção. Marcelo kommt aus Brasilien und lebte einige Zeit in Lissabon … einer meiner Lieblingsstädte in Europa, wohnt aber seit geraumer Zeit in Deutschland. Auch wenn er jetzt sesshaft geworden ist … bleibt er doch ein Reisender. Vor allem mit der Gedankenklang-Family ist er die letzten Jahre auf diversen Festivals und Clubs anzutreffen gewesen wie z. B. Meeresrauschen, Wilde Möhre, Sisyphos, Klunkerkranich, Love Fundation um nur einige Stationen zu nennen.

Marcelos DJ-Performance zu beschreiben ist nicht einfach … deswegen lassen wir ihn selbst sprechen.

Duboko Deep is passionate collector & DJ coming out of Zagreb (Croatia). His love to music started in early age. His mother and father collector’s of chanson francaise,jazz music,canzoni italiane,Sinatra,Dean Martin, soundtrack’s etc. His passion for music begins with vinyl records of disco, italo, hi-energy, Canadian disco, synth-infused, 80s music, soul …He got involved in the electronic music & house in late 80s, shortly after club music took over him. From the very beginnings Deep house was sound to which he remained most faithful, simply because it was love at the first listen! And so it continues… His musical selection is best described as pure, deep, melodic vibes which takes you “Duboko” (“Deep” in Croatian)! Trough his sets you can feel eclectic beautiful synth works, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, oriental sounds, and occasional vocal hooks. His music styles are open minded. He practises emotional tunes, and it does not matter whether are new or old. It is important that they raise his emotional moment which can reach out to listeners through his selections. And so it has for years, through various clubs, lounge bars, on different kinds of events like museums, beaches giving out smiles and satisfaction to his listeners. His passion for music is to explore and mix so Deep musical languages. Peace...Love...Music!!!

It has been a while since we last published a set or a podcast. But we return with a staggering list of music. First up the fourth episode of The Gardens of... 

For this new episode we asked our dear friend and beloved artist José Noventa. José plays an important role in our lives, as our Belgian resident, our partner in India and the one who opened our eyes and heart to yoga. 

This young passionate artist is currently based from Berlin and after sharing food with him last week, we again realised how amazing he is. Free, creative and alive.

The Gardens of Jose Noventa - Episode 4

Saint Petersburg’s based duo Andre P & Droomie was formed by two old school mates after some years of musical experience, Andre as a DJ, who was spinning before mostly at underground Asian parties in Goa, Bali, Japan and Droomie as a bass guitar player in several local rock bands.
Le Megot (or Kolyma) is a old Russian prisoners song performed also by French actor and singer Yves Montand in late 70’s both on French and Russian. Andre P & Droomie made a remix including sound of viola of Moscow musician Vartan Darakchian. The cover was presented by Anastasia Smuk.

For this latest podcast we have the lovely kośa from Pune in India who has put together a delicious 70 minute mix full of intriguing deep vocals and downtempo beats. Starting off with gentle sounds yet building the second half of the mix into a more intense musical experience keeping the listener intrigued from minute one to the end of the mix. In his own words "This mix is a dialogue between two lovers, which rather escalates quickly".

Mazaj Session XIV - The sorcery of Shiraz

I don't think much of resolutions, yet they motivate me. I started my year doing more meditation, more yoga and a juice diet. Spirituality and music should also find more place in my everyday life this year. Therefore, I am setting a milestone this year and it starts today. For each full moon in 2021, I’ll dedicate a DJ Set. Since we are celebrating the first full moon this year and while everyone still is in lockdown, I wanted to save our energy a bit and put together a more relaxed and down-tempo set with for you. 

A full moon ritual may of course not be missing. The ritual can be used for a lot, for instance, to leave old burdens behind in order to direct the focus back to the essentials.

Today I am saying goodbye to my impatience. Like most of you, I can't wait to finally do what I've been longing for, for months: living unrestricted, no more reduced circumstances. 
Since being impatient currently only weighs me down more, I'm letting it go. I stay calm, enjoy what I have and try to turn my impatience into anticipation.

Let go of everything that limits you!
