(Story continued from Witchtape #58)

On that April evening, the little witch had nimbly climbed into the tallest tree of the forest to get a better view of the glorious sunset.  After the last rays of sunlight had faded away, an even more amazing celestial constellation unfolded in the western sky, with a tiny crescent of the new moon following the sun down to the horizon, followed by planet Venus.  Actually, the girl had never seen Venus shine so brightly, and the soft green glow of the planet really got under her skin, raising her feminine energy to a level she had never felt before.  High up in the tree, she felt so intensely connected with mother earth and with planet Venus at the same time… and also with the baby witch who was sleeping peacefully in the safety of her womb.  At that moment, she realized she was not a little girl anymore, but a fully-fledged witch.
A few minutes later, the little witch sensed a presence at the foot of the tree.  And when she looked down, her heart skipped a beat.  In the soft moonlight and greenish Venus glow, she saw her wizard standing below her… he had finally returned from his ancestral grounds in Africa.  The little witch swiftly descended to the lowest branch of the tree, from where the giant (2m40 tall) wizard gently picked up the petite (1m58) girl and he held her tightly in his arms while they exchanged a passionate welcome kiss.  Of course, the wizard had many stories to tell from his home village in the African rain forest, but first they simply enjoyed each other’s company, while snuggling close to one another on the soft moss.  Soon the moon would disappear behind the horizon, followed by planet Venus.  But by then, witch and wizard were already in their own world of love and joy on their soft bed of dry moss, only having eye for each other, even when it started to rain well after midnight, ending a dry weather spell of 6 weeks.  And at daybreak, all animals were surprised to see the forest all of a sudden covered with a colorful flower carpet… spring was in the air…

Für die 52. Runde des Igelkarussels ist diesmal jungspund aus Freiburg, der sonnigsten Stadt Deutschlands, mit von der Partie!!

Zum Stichwort „Liebe zur Musik“ kann uns der gebürtige Gießener einiges erzählen: Um 2013 und 2014, als er @christianloeffler und @kris_davis für sich entdeckte, explodierte seine Leidenschaft für die elektronischen Klänge und er begann selbst Musik zu sammeln. Sandros erster Auftritt an den Decks und damit seine erste Einladung zur gemeinsamen Reise in die deep-treibenden Beats ließ dann selbstverständlich nicht mehr lange auf sich warten! Er selbst verbindet Musik mit einem puren Freiheitsgefühl und kann sich nichts besseres vorstellen, als sich mit ihrer Hilfe des stressigen Alltags zu entledigen. 
Und dies tut er am liebsten innerhalb der Community die mit Musik so oft einhergeht und für ihn vor allem für offenen, respektvollen, und vorurteilslosen Umgang miteinander steht, denn Musik verbindet!
Sein „Bummeln auf Balkonien“-Set kann als Paradebeispiel für seinen Sound zählen und hat uns direkt verzaubert, so dass klar war, dass unsere Podcastreihe keinesfalls ohne ihn auskommen sollte. Und wie der Zufall es so wollte, stellte sich dann auch noch heraus, dass wir mit ihm die Heimatstadt teilen. 
Und wie klein ja bekanntlich die Welt ist wird auch durch eines seiner Highlights der 2019 Festivalsaison deutlich: Träumerisch beschreibt er seinen Gänsehautmoment auf der Bucht der Träumer während des sagenhaften Sturms, der @Caleesi nochmal ordentlich hochdrehen, das Floß voller Nackedeis abtreiben, und zur Versӧhnung schließlich wieder die Sonne samt doppeltem Regenbogen erstrahlen lassen hat.

Sein Set ist mal wieder was für Feinschmecker. Melodische, sphärische aber auch teils trippige Elemente paaren sich mit der ein oder anderen wuchtigen Bassline und behalten dabei stets den roten Faden im Blick. Der vorletzte Track ist eine hommage an @kris_davis, der Sandros Musik maßgeblich inspiriert hat. Wir sind begeistert und wünschen euch viel Spaß auf dieser Reise heraus aus dem Alltag und hinein ins grenzüberschreitende Erleben von Musik!
