DJ Skitch has long been a staple of the south-east dance music community.  Entering the world of the Rave in 2000, the spirit of a storied era of pre-EDM warehouse beats has permeated his sound for over two decades. 

The multi-faceted artist effortlessly sways between House, Breaks, DNB, and Hybrid Bass, always with the goal of unifying dancefloors under the sound of a big bass beat. From his home bass in Charleston, South Carolina, he's played a dominant role in shaping and reshaping the dance music scene in the South. Over his 15 years as a promoter, he's hosted countless events and now runs Infectious Entertainment and the Resurgence:DNB Collective.

His skills behind the decks are unsurpassed. He's frequently called upon to hold down the decks alongside international headliners and lauded DJ's like The Crystal Method, Nero, Excision, Stanton Warriors, Subtronics, DJ Craze, Dirtyphonics, and more.

Since falling in love with Electronic Music in the late '90s, listening to Sasha & Digweed, The Prodigy, Robert Miles, progressive mixes on the power label Global Underground and being exposed to breaks, dubstep and drum n' bass over the following years, r.evolve.r developed his own sound that swims in darkness, emotion, beauty and atmosphere. In live sets he often bounces between genres playing whatever suits the mood of the moment and is rarely seen standing still behind the decks. The combination of his intense passion for the music in which he found a home, his broad appreciation of sound, and his deeply poetic soul has created a style in his sets that is often more akin to storytelling than to DJing.
