Open Air Stereo is a dynamic four piece alt-pop/rock band based in Southern California. The group is comprised of Chase Johnson (lead vocals), Nick Gross (drums), and Evan Smith (bass). Chase and Nick grew up in the South Orange County town of Laguna Beach, CA. After forming OAS in 2005, Chase landed a starring role in the MTV series ‘Laguna Beach’. Open Air Stereo was featured prominently on the show. Not long afterward, the band signed a deal with Sony/Epic records.
