What the heck is Slowcore?

When Techno and Hardcore gained traction in the 90s, there was the tendency for the sound to get more heavy and dirty on the one side, and more frantic and speedy on the other side; tracks at 160 BPM, 180 BPM, soon at over 200+ BPM came popping out; until eventually genres such as Terror and Speedcore arose and you had tracks clocking at 800 bpm in 1998. And, after the millenium, genres such as Splittercore and Extratone became popular that took the speed to even more insane levels.

But after a while, an evolution towards the opposite direction took place, too; starting in genres such as Industrial Hardcore and Doomcore, some artists began to produce slower and slower tracks; this soon gave birth to the phenomenon known as "Slowcore". Tracks below 100 BPM, or 80 BPM, or 60 BPM, or even at 1 bpm (and slower?). Slowcore even has its own sub styles by now, such as Funeral Doomcore for very slow tracks, or Hadal Doomcore for even much, much slower tracks (think 1-16 BPM).

When exactly a track does enter the "Slowcore" realm is open to dispute. For this compilation we used the definiton: 125 BPM or slower (with one exception!).

So we called out for producers to turn in their Slowcore tracks for this compilation, and the response was awesome. We have something from all realms of slower Hardcore here, 120 BPM tracks, 60 BPM, 4 BPM... Industrial inspired sounds, Doomed sounds, slow Dancefloor stompers, Dark Ambient influences, Death Metal, odd experiments... everything you can wish for.

And, while listening to the tracks, we almost got the impression that there was a historic error in the development of Hardcore Techno: these slow tracks sound so natural and kicking, the slow drums underline the dark moods and atmospheres so perfect, maybe Hardcore had always been ment to be produced at half the speed, or even much less!

So... get a glimpse of the Slowcore movement, and check this compilation - if you dare!

We aren´t proud but also not ashamed, we´re musicians, artists, 
political activists and women with misunderstood bodys. 
And we´re fucking angry.

We act against all states, all official gender-entries + gender/sex assignments
everywhere , we fight against the genitalistic worldorder ("dick = man / pussy = woman"), all propaganda, laws. rules, "art", media repeating & pushing all this bullshit that leads into more violence, prejudice & rejection of us, our bodies, stories, claims, rights and acceptance. 

We fight against all suggestive propaganda  fairytale of "genderchanges", "wrong bodies", "gender identity" and "gender dysphoria" (this is our project is called Del_F64.0, what is a statement against the diagnosis "F64.0 ("gender incongruence" / "gender dysphoria" / "gender identity disorder" / "transsexualism" that we fight against as activists), as also against structures & images where female emancipation (*) is just reduced on a vagina [symbol] because we believe in emancipation, but never in cuntism, which is, to our reality, not feminism, not emancipation, but patriarchal anatomism, regress and, of course, just cuntism. 

We are bringing the female dick & the "non confirming genital shape" back into the rrrriot, as we are bringing the female, non ashame and not wrong nor anyhow "not matching" dick back into the sexual emancipation movement. 
We want more than just some "nice" talks about genderroles, gender expressions and the possibilities of more than 2 genders, we want an own territory completely free of genitalistic rules, media, laws and "gender at birth" propaganda lies, where we will create our own symbols, stories, language, battle tactics and claims to destroy the genitalistic worldorder that is still supported, applied and violently spread and defended by every fucking country of this planet.

Our mission is the Antigenitalistic Rrrriot, and it has just begun.

We support actions against psychiatry, genital mutilations of so-called "intersexual" children, pathologization of men and women who are/were wrong assigned at birth and we support people of 
every sex that´s fucking oppressed and made illegal and  unaccepted by all fucked up states in this corrupt world of shit.

We support the political emancipation of anyone, underground-art, anarchist actions, antipsychiatry animal liberation and so on. We support the underground. But only the underground stuff we like.

Don´t even think of calling us "transgender/trans-whatever" - or categorize
us that way - we would rip you into pieces!!! 
We totally reject the bodyfashist (genitalistic) categories "inter", "trans" and "cis" 
and everything that wants to emphasize there would be clear "biological" differences, 
two biological sexes - one manmade lie !

Don´t blame my body - blame your fucking perception & education system!

Our life, music & activism is dedicated to bring up the complete war against this genitalistic worldorder that is killing, torturing, persecuting, blaming and excluding us and our people for over 3000 years now - we rise against our oppressors and their repression systems until the end.
