A young & talented producer based in the Ukraine, he began releasing in 2019 & has already firmly cemented himself as one to watch out for, releasing with esteemed labels such as Lee Burridge's  All Day I Dream, Do Not Sit On The Furniture Recordings, Anjunadeep & many more. We are happy to have Joseph Ashworth joining us for a mix following the release of his new album "Stay" on Anjunadeep.

Stay is a dynamic album with influences spanning from Acid House to Italo Disco to 90s Warp Records. Joseph presents a focused and considered body of work that displays a wealth of growth from his last full-length release Grain, released in 2015.

The original intention wasn't to record a full-length album. An opportunity arose to create an AI project (AIMI) where elements of his unreleased work would be re-interpreted by machine learning to generate an ever-evolving music experience. This inspired Joseph to bring together years' worth of music for listeners interested in the cutting edge of technology, but also reminded Joseph of his love of the traditional 'album' format. So throughout 2021, and with less travel, Joseph created 10 tracks and meticulously edited and arranged them into a fluid, engaging listening experience.

Joseph comments, ‘Stay is the connection of ten tracks I started over the past five years. Time and patience were key in the recording process, with an aim to make each track as unique and emotionally vivid as possible’. 

Joseph Ashworth’s highly acclaimed releases on Cocoon, Siamese, Life & Death, Get Weird, Pets, ELEMENTS, and Needwant have helped him grow a reputable fanbase on both sides of the Atlantic, receiving support from all corners of the electronic music scene including Lee Burridge, Jonas Rathsman, DJ Tennis, Patrice Baumel, Kolsch and many more.

Hey everyone, i wasn't sure that i was going to be doing one of these this year.I honestly just didn't feel like it up until a few days ago, until i opened Ableton and decided to give it a go. Usually i have a tracklist running for several months before i finish this mix, but this year i decided to take a different approach by just mixing it randomly (its 2020 after all planning is pointless). As Deeve, he’s into any kind of atmospheric, deep music. His productions, remixes and sets range from Ambient to Downtempo, House, Breaks and groovy shades of Dub Techno. His monthly show ‚Temptations‘ showcases tracks from these various styles, creating journeys to relax, switch off, dance or dream.
