ABOUT US:
"SCARRED HANDS" (formerly His Scarred Hands or HSH) is an independent Christian band based in Manila, Philippines. The group was formed in October 2012 and is composed of vocalist Anthon Benedict Albania, guitarists Aris Lacson and Yonni Cruz, bassist Kim Ramos, and drummers Enz Casa and Brian Tan.

On October 1, 2013, the band released its mini album, titled Alive & Well, on online music retail stores, including iTunes.

In November 2013, their original song, entitled "Speak" was first aired on public radio - 106.7 Saved on Energy FM. It was one of the bands biggest milestones in 2013. Within the same month, the band launched "Live Worship Sessions", a monthly video series featuring two live recorded songs, with the aim of reaching out to their followers on social media network and provide an avenue of worship. 

On January 18, 2014, their Tagalog songs "Di Ka Na Mag-iisa" and "Ang Buhay Ko" were featured and included on Edge Radio's OPM playlist, the organisation that runs Positively Pinoy - a website that promotes good music, and provides daily devotions directly from the Word.

On February 28, 2014, their first single of the year, titled "Kumusta Ka",  was released on iTunes and Amazon. It easily became a hit to everyone who heard it due to its simplicity and catchy OPM-tune. Listen to Kumusta Ka on Youtube --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WYg5bCroDo.

The band's name came from the idea of Jesus’ nail scarred hands - a representation and, more importantly, a reminder of what He has done for us.

VISION & MISSION:
A devoted, non-crossover Christian band, ministering the message of salvation in Jesus Christ. Through media, festivals & crusades, and similar avenues, the group aims to share the good news using their songs created at a high standard - musicality and recording quality-wise.

While delivering the “scarred hands” message is the group’s primary purpose, they also aim to inspire similar bands in the country that good music belongs to God. For it is written, "For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen." - Romans 11:36
