Who's ready for a tall glass of Ness-T?  This spunky, animated DJ has been performing in Victoria and beyond for 13 years now.  Far from slowing down, she continues to invest more passion into music every day.  Fusing elements from all genres with a welcome dose of live drumming, Ness leans toward the dark, bad ass, lip-biting sexiness of electronica by night, and sexy, downtempo vibes by day. 

Music has always been the fuel for her creativity, her best friend on rough days, her ever present soundtrack to life.  Her love shows and keeps the crowds growing with every set.  

Ness knows all genres can set fire to the dance floor when the timing is right.  There is no need to limit one’s self to just one.

Founded in 2016 by DJ’s Cannibass and Ian Devlin, Phatso Soundsystem’s mission statement is clear, make you sweat on the dancefloor. With a huge love for electronic music in all its forms, namely House music, the Phatso’s come slinging over 40 years of experience behind the decks. Ian’s been a veteran of the U.K. music scene since 1989. From Spain to Holland, from Hawaii and beyond, Ian’s sought-after skills have landed him gigs in cities around the world. And now as a resident of Victoria, B.C., Ian brings his hard-hitting beats to venues across Canada. As for Cannibass, After finding a box of old cassette tapes from artists such as Praga Kahn, Derrick May and LTJ Bukem, Devon was hooked. After getting his mitts on a crateful of random used records in 1999, he dove into the music coming through the needle, and pouring out of the speakers.

Now Combining their efforts into production and DJ’ing under the Phatso Soundsystem moniker, these two are putting out a smorgasbord of funky, ass shakin’ beats. When the Phatso boys are cookin’ the decks, you’ll be front and center lickin’ your fingers and asking for seconds.

Born, raised and hailing from Victoria B.C. Ry has over 15 years of experience playing clubs, parties and after hours gigs, Ry is also the founder of The Victoria Electronic Music Collective (VEMC) & The Summer Beach Series parties. He’s always had a long lived passion for the underground music scene and Electronic Dance Music.  Playing a bit of everything over the years has had lot of influence in his sound today, everything from Electro  to Break-beats his tastes have always leaned to the Deeper, Chunky side of Electronic Music so be ready for a musical journey of huge rolling bass lines guaranteed to get your feet moving and your body grooving .
