Anyone who has been active in our scene for years has certainly observed the musical changes in recent years. While “normal” hardstyle used to be the standard, rawstyle is now the dominant genre.

Over the years the music has become increasingly harder and the normal Hardstyle has lost a lot of relevance. Don't get me wrong, I love rawstyle and am a raw fanatic myself.

Nevertheless, I really appreciate the normal Hardstyle with its beautiful melodies and miss it a little at the moment. So today I have a new mix that deals with exactly this topic:

Revokez presents: Back To The Roots

With a few exceptions, this mix only contains newer tracks that were released between 2020-2023. The special thing is that the mix sounds like a classics mix although in reality it's not a classics mix. Most of them are newer tracks produced in the traditional way.

The first half of the mix is ​​based on the classic style that was produced in the years 2006-2010 while the second half is based mostly on the euphoric Hardstyle of 2013-2017.
