this set is a tale written by two sides of a broken heart and their points of view; one of them being left alone with too many questions and no answers. trying to figure out, is there life after crushed dreams, while still fantasizing about all the things that could be said and done. the other side is keeping her head busy, trying her best to wake up the motherboard inside, to start functioning as an android with emotions, with clear mind and sincere goals.

throughout the set, as it is in real life, these two parts are constantly intertwining into each others thoughts and sentences - there are many chaotic moments where these perceptions collide, not giving the other one time to come to a conclusion, rather taking the story in its own direction. after some time they will know only love and peace and let it all be. until then, they rely on music and art to communicate.

I wish to thank all of the artists who have provided beautiful, heartfelt music that I've used in this set. when hearing how someone can tell their story without using a single word, it leaves me mesmerized and drives me further to keep learning music production, have confidence in my own path and  love that I feel for this music.

lastly, I want to say enormous thank you to all the beautiful beings that remind me how to smile every single day ♥

Ex-Gen es la abreviación de Extreme Genetics, una banda del conocido sello 3D Visión y fundadores del sello Español Dropland Recordings. Esta formado por Manuel Marti (Nanuk) y German Martinez (Aum Project) y juntos llevan trabajando desde hace mas de una década para aportar su visión y conocimientos en canciones en las que la energía y el gore se entremezclan con zombies, sci-fi, naves espaciales y gatos furiosos.

Marco Pinto mejor conocido como Brainwash nace en el año 1982 en Santarém, Portugal. A temprana edad inicia como DJ dentro del psychedelic trance en el año 2003 años registrando sus ideas en sonidos, construyendo y evolucionando de manera constante, creando un estilo único. Representa los sellos de 3D VISION, Global Army y Fractal Records.

Ex-Gen is the abbreviation of Extreme Genetics, a band of the well-known 3D Vision label and founders of the Spanish label Dropland Recordings. It is formed by Manuel Marti (Nanuk) and German Martinez (Aum Project) and together they have been working for more than a decade to contribute their vision and knowledge in songs in which energy and gore intermingle with zombies, sci-fi, Spaceships and furious cats.
