Finally, in all it's glory- THE REDACTED HALLOWEEN RAVE SET!

This was an interesting set for me- I wanted to push myself outside my traditional 175 bpm range and typical genre-set. This time, I opened with Hitech, moved into hardcore, then techcore, dariacore, and debuted my first single between two brand new releases from Megarex!

The ending drastically changed from the original for two reasons- The original was 1hr long, and 30 mins of that set were a free mix, me choosing songs on the fly and mixing as is- not quite what I like to give in a performance. So, I decided to challenge myself! Two days before the rave, I created my first Hyperflip compilation, and then the day before the rave, (the day I recorded this, actually) I made a completely different edit of said flip to be harder, faster, and funnier.

Sorry xaev, I swapped out your last track for Lapix. I think you'd be cool with that.

A huge thank you to Buggy and the rest of the Asheville scene for having me play for you guys, I love the city and community they've grown over the years, and I hope to be back soon!

Objective

Trance Psyberia is a psychedelic trance project originally from Russia, currently based in Los Angeles, California. 

Since 2014 we are on a mission to expand horizons of listeners of electronic music by adding psychedelic flavor to it.

Basically it boils down to one simple goal:

"The main purpose of Trance Psyberia is to show people how different Psytrance can be."

Ben is a Bournemouth-based artist who began his musical journey 2020. He has dedicated himself to creating soundscapes that are at once hypnotic, playful, and mind-expanding. Inspired by the book 'The Vorrh', his music transports listeners to vivid experiences where groove and imagination merge together. Weaving deep basslines, funky rhythms, and psychedelic atmospheres, Ben’s sound is crafted to move bodies and uplift spirits.

Formerly known as ZakuNuva, ZAQU was first exposed to EDM via 2000's techno and electronica. In later years, exposure to Drum and Bass in 2012 led to his love of fast and high paced music, eventually leading him to a love of Hardcore and it's adjacent genres. One of these genres, Future Core, was his gateway to the fast paced world of Japanese Hardcore, and eventually Techcore. Inspired by artists such as Psyqui, Lapix, and Srav3r. His current inspirations and genre favorites are artists such as Mylta, DJ Shimamura, Wooden, Xaev, and Yukiyanagi.
