It was an infatuation with electronic music from a young age that sparked the beginning of Nick Berry’s DJ career in the Sydney scene back in 2014.

Since then, Berry has made a name for himself through his acute deviation from what is expected, playing uniquely melodic music punctuated by an eclectic mix of deep house and techno - influenced by the 90’s rave and progressive trance era. Fast forward to present day and Nick Berry has shared lineups with DJ Koze, Oliver Koletzki, Andhim, and Gerd Janson to name a few.

“Any experience, whether musical or not, at Burning Man always has something unique and special about it. Even though it happens every year, no two are ever the same. In fact, as it becomes a tradition, there’s a sense of trust and expectation that makes the moment always breathtaking. That’s exactly how I feel about my performance at Pink Mammoth. I truly feel like part of the family — because of the way they treat me and how deeply connected I feel to this tribe.

This year, two magical things happened during the gig. First, the arrival was epic. I had to cross the playa during one of the biggest dust storms I’ve seen at Burning Man in my eight years there. At times, it literally turned to night. My friends, despite being completely exhausted on Sunday and facing harsh conditions, didn’t let anything stop them from showing up to support me. Amazing!

Second, a mix-up in the set times caused my session to overlap with the wonderful Sinca's. Neither of us were big fans of doing a B2B, especially since we hadn’t built a prior connection, and it was the first time we were meeting! But the connection was instant, and the magic unfolded as we synced through music from the very first second, feeling completely at ease throughout the process.

We're starting something new! With Wolvenroedel (Dutch for Wolfpack) we've been throwing parties for five years now, and we always believed in giving the stage to talented friends and friends of friends. With this new Radio Show we're launching an extra platform for that. One of our favorite dj's from the start is  @vero_djofficial, from Amsterdam. She'll take it away for this first edition. SOAME is a DJ and Producer from Zürich Switzerland. Known for his groovy, pushy House DJ-Sets and Productions with Deep and Techno influences and a lot of melody, he is truly in Love with Music. After more then 15 years organizing Events (eg. Arosa Electronica Festival, Backyard Hype @ Street Parade, Colour Series Label Nights etc.) and playing as a DJ, he spends more time in the studio by producing music also collaborating with a number of other artists. After releasing a fascinating collection of tracks which brought him further attention, expect to hear a lot of the SOAME sound in the future.
