The fourth Applied Magic release comes courtesy of Komenda, two alluring Süßboys from the flatlands of the North German Plain.

All tracks are unique in their own little way, just like the minds that created them. A manifestation of the idea that art must constantly move forward, that there are still new ideas and uncharted territories out there. You just have to seek them out.

Tunno could be best described as the sound of a dying dial-up modem, sending stuttering morse code to the depths of interplanetary space. Reminiscent of 90s bleep sound, warped and filtered through a prism of contemporary, cutting edge dance music.Guaranteed goosebump material!

356 really has its own pulse. 5 to the floor, straight yet broken, an everchanging, perpetually repeating mantra that just sticks in your head and never leaves you again. An unlikely earworm if you just let it catch you.

French hypertalent INVŌKER's remix for Tunno takes the original and wraps it up in a warm and cozy blanket. Classic Detroit pads meet a colorful, almost Balearic sound design with the monochromatic, angular original melody still shining through, transporting it from outer space to outside - somewhere near the beach.

The whole package is topped off with an artwork by David Kochs, who is not only a singular producer and DJ but obviously a really good designer as well.

When Kellerkind published his first tracks on Sirion Records in 2008, nobody ever considered the success story of Marco Biagini's alter ego.
Eight years later he looks back on numerous releases, among others on Stil vor Talent, Flash, KaterMukke or Hive Audio. His record debut on Sirion in 2012 another breakthrough, with special mention required for the title song "Disco on the Dancefloor". It’s with this song that Kellerkind has definitely won the hearts of his audience and thus left a lasting aftertaste which continues until today.
His fourth EP on Sirion with the promising title "Way Out" builds up on the 2010 published Altro Mondo EP.
Three reduced Techhouse tracks promising pure dancefloor feeling with finely assorted forward directional sound elements and smooth deepness. The slightly hypnotic vocal smasher in Christian Nielsen Remix carries nicely with the three tracks in every way and completes the catalog number 42 elegantly.

Thomas and Julien aka Parallells are Dutch brothers based out of France and also the co-founders of Klassified Records and Klassified Music Festival a massive artistic and cultural outdoor project combining electronic music, art, and well-being.

Sagesse Et Pouvoir is part of the compilation "Helios & Selene" on the Swiss-based label, Wildfang Music.

The vocal is a French poem written by the artists that talks about Wisdom and Power, two characteristics that can be found deep in the music as well.

'Warung is Brazil’s leading underground label and now they turn their attention to remixes of some big tunes from a previous Blond:ish release. Bloom, Leo Janeiro, Boghosian and Santiago Garcia all step up and show off their skills to make for a standout EP. 

Bloom goes first and flips Mountains Of The Mind into a deep, moody house track that sucks you in with spooky chords and a suspenseful atmosphere. Santiago Garcia then flips the same track into a slightly busier number with synthetic melodies and lingering chords all making it a colourful but late night cut that is subtle and alluring. 

Leo Janeiro then makes Mouth into a deep house roller with fluttering hand drums, distant groans and a minimal groove that always evolves and keeps you locked. It grows more forceful later on with big hi hats and will get the floor moving in style. Last of all, Boghosian gets freaky with a wonky house track that has off kilter keys and chords over the top of his rubbery drums. It’s intimate house music for those who like their mind to be as busy as their feet.'

Coming in fresh for the summer season with their third outing on Hive Audio is the Swiss duo named Sous Sol with a follow up to their massive „Taonga EP“. Bringing forth two new original tracks and a remix by Romanian electronic music staple Mihai Popoviciu, their new release the „Dizzy Rhythm EP“, fully lives up the pairings high quality standards and is soon to be heard on a dancefloor near you.

Opening with the title track „Dizzy Rhythm“ Sous Sol are employing a deep, tribalistic vibe for a start,  fusing intricate, complex percussion lines with a seductive TechHouse groove and masterly crafted synth arrangements bringing forth a well balanced amount of mystique and drive ideal for intimate late settings as well as epic moments throughout large scale sunrise sessions.

On a remix tip for „Dizzy Rhythm“ is no-one less than Mihai Popoviciu. The Romanian Techno legend who's left a trail of releases on high quality labels like International Deejay Gigolo, Poker Flat Recordings, Bedrock Records and many more over the years turns towards a more dancefloor focused  approach in his rework, strips things down a little, adds quite a distinct, stoic hi-hat whilst staying true to a certain, dreamlike and well trance inducing feel for an ultimate lift-off.

Finally „Hazy Vision“ sees Sous Sol on a well funky tip, once again bringing forth masterly crafted percussion vibes alongside a classic uplifting pad motif harking back to a mid-90s House vibe accompanied by large scale build-ups and the duos trademark mysticism, all falling into place to channel dancefloor energies towards a huge, and surely inevitable, climax.
