Drinking to their tenth year in the game, Hive Audio enter 2022 with a celebratory compilation triptych featuring some of the finest names in the house and techno scenes. Taking the reins for the series' second instalment, a septet of the Swiss club affiliates and long-time friends headline the comp including Booka Shade, Einmusik, Edu Imbernon, Definition and Natascha Polké, Niconé & Dirty Doering, Nico Morano and Vanita. 

Pulling out their trademark engineering of athletic tech-house and subs-charged, aqueous sleekness, Booka Shade show the uninitiated how it's done true-school-style with the heat-conducting "Regatta Da Zatta". A blazing tapestry of synth-heavy lushness and clinical programming, tailored for nothing but whipping up ravers into a frenzy. 

Definition & Natascha Polké pick up the torch with the deeper descending, melancholic flow of "Haunted" - a cold-at-heart sonic tableau enticing us on the path of nostalgia through delicately textured paths and darker meanderings. 

Edu Imbernon dishes out a further propulsive blend of Italo-laced arpeggios, ominous deep-end threat and big-room churn on a brainwashing, trance-friendly tip, perfect to get everyone wading in their own sweat from peak-time to extended party action throughout the day. 

Merging tribalistic polyrhythms with angular narratives out tomorrow's globalized dystopia, Einmusik "Walensee" cuts a path of communicative elation with its barrage of glassy synth stabs and tectonic bass movements rising from down under up to stratospheric heights. 

Nico Morano's contribution "Adior" grinds elements of typical Latin suavity alongside feverish keyboard talk a la Moroder and newbeat-informed programming, ushering us in its own continuum of befogged hi-tech solitude. 

Funky to the bone, Niconé & Dirty Doering "Kill All My..." trades the velocity of the previous for a low-slung, nu-discoid swagger that blows the winds of ultimate hedonism across the dance floor. 

Last but not least, Vanita's bespoke freewheeling closer "Anxietatem" pulls off the perfect mix of rolling, tsunami-like dynamism and painstaking textural arrangements.

Following their highly acclaimed ’Sweet Ease’  / ‘Hybrid Society’, which reached No.1 on Beatport Indie Dance towards the end of 2021 and featured in countless DJ sets, Matthias Meyer and Budakid return to Watergate Records with another powerful collaboration, ’Saye’ / ’System’ released on October 14th.

Opening track 'Saye’ captures the inventive and sparkling production both Berlin-based artists have become renowned for. Hypnotic organ chords are deployed alongside euphoric vocal chops and jagged, driving beats to create a truly memorable track which is already generating a huge reaction on dance-floors when it has been road tested in recent Matthias Meyer and Budakid DJ sets. 

The stirring and atmospheric ’System’ balances ’Saye’ perfectly. Budakid’s haunting vocal is presented alongside glitchy, yet etherial synthesizer sequences with the central theme the idea that we are living in a broken system.

Premiere: PARIS - Mangata [This Never Happened]

'As 2022 draws to a close, Purified Records delivers a new selection of melodic gems in its latest VA compilation – Purified Fragments XIII. Opening with their instrumental cut ‘Wind’, German production outfit Diode Eins make their label debut. Floating across a laidback arrangement, the producers combine undulating synths, shuffling percussion and bold instrumentals to enter a mystical realm. Namatjira teams up with Jelle van Leeuwen for a delicate and blissful offering ‘Reminiscent’, where the producers devise a stunning instrumental arrangement with a timeless feel. 

Frankfurt-based artist Paraframe closeses out the compilation with ‘Euphoria’. Building a hypnotic soundscape with staccato notes and raw bass, the track turns with a mesmerising drop that will keep listeners hooked across its duration.'

With "Stay until the Light" Oliver Koletzki reveals the first high-impact sneak peak of his forthcoming tenth studio album "Trip to Sanity" – a monumental milestone in the seasoned Berlin producer's career at the forefront of contemporary electronic music, to be released on Stil vor Talent this autumn.      
 
On "Stay until the Light" Koletzki collaborates with fellow label stalwart Niko Schwind and the San Francisco singer Talmirage, masterfully melding Oliver's penchant for dramatic neon synths, rolling bass lines and captivating vocal hooks into a gripping indie-dance hymn that seductively beckons the listener to "stay until the light, hold me until the sunrise".  
 
Accompanying the to-the-point "Radio Mix", Oliver and Niko each deliver their own "Extended Mix", both firmly focussed on the floor. While Koletzki opts for a psychedelic rendition which strips down the vocals and amps up the drama by way of a teasing arrangement, Schwind beds Talmirage's voice on a bass-heavy italo framework to ecstatic effect. Rounding off the single, we are treated to two additional remixes: First up, Watergate hotshot Biesmans crafts a powerfully pumping reinterpretation weaving elastic synths and jazzy breaks around the original's vox. The Barcelona-based talent Gespona then shines by way of the chugging percussion and funky fluorescent licks of his rework – bringing a heavy-hitting package to a close that wets the appetite for more.
