Out of Place Records continues their series of high-delivery releases, this time on digital with the label's 8th release. It is an all-around banger with five tracks signed by young talent from Poland - Szmer. The tracks are ranging from underwater blasts and Detroit machinery to fast attack bouncers and grinders. Szmer cleverly combines raw techno elements with industrial noise and expanding chords capturing the essence of any club-oriented floor kickers. Dancers are going to dig this one!

Young Michał Aleksiewicz is a promising Poland producer and a DJ better known these days as Szmer. Walking the Techno path since 2011, he's been playing all around Poland and also well-known European temples like Tresor and Suicide Circus, although under The Effaith moniker. In almost ten years he managed to release numerous tracks under three different aliases which are mostly influenced by Planetary Assault Systems, Ben Sims, Jeroen Search, Zadig or Sterac aka Steve Rachmad.

"Geist" adorably resembles some of the older tracks by Robert Hood or Steve Rachmad. Detroit infused sequence is squeezing and expanding through a rolling beats and 909 percussions. Heavy cymbals and short breaks are tight and leave little room for pit stops in this relentless pounder.

Biography:
Ike Dusk hails from northwest Germany and has over 15 years experience in the electronic music scene. Numerous Dj-gigs in his local area helped him to evolve into a recognised and respected artist in the local scene.
In 2013 he constantly worked on his production skills then self released tracks on Bandcamp and Soundcloud until his first official solo EP ’12 Bit Fidelity’ was signed by Utrecht based label Obscuur Records in early 2016.
Well known electronic craftsman JoeFarr signed Ike after he won a remix competition for JoeFarr’s track ‘Don’t be afraid’. Ike joined the UX roster in 2018 and is continuing to execute his raw and driving productions with style.

Dimitar Georgiev is one of the biggest techno exports of the Bulgarian Techno scene from the last few years. His musical worldview goes beyond any styles and genres, which helps his productions making their way to the biggest club and festival stages around the world, supported by wide variety of names like Dax J, Ben Klock, DVS1, Rebekah and more. Dimitar is part of the Bulgarian Stamina crew, which is responsible for some of the highest quality events in Sofia recently, and also takes part of a project that helps young artists from the local scene in developing their production skills. An old school techno enthusiast, Eddie Lives brings up his dark side to us through his mixing. He is based in Serres/Greece and he's playing his electronic sounds over a decade. After being a real-life raver he started travelling abroad in order to follow his favourite artists and get influenced by their sounds. His energetic style of mixing comes up with the selection of rough and hardstyle techno. Residencies for small and secret venues in his hometown gave him the opportunity to express his dark side through guest sessions for Cannibal Radio in Athens and also for Tokyo City Bar in Thessaloniki and many more.
