Kulture Galerie returns with its fourth vinyl compilation, showcasing a futuristic collection of Techno and Tech House tracks infused with hints of Braindance, Electro, and Acid. The compilation opens with tracks from London’s rising star YSANNE (Semi Delicious) and Rare Happiness, both delivering perfect dancefloor destroyers that have already been tested in clubs across Europe.

Next, analogue enthusiast Perseus Traxx presents a relentless live jam packed with squelchy sounds, while on the flip side, Uncanny Valley’s Herzel teams up with North Macedonia's own L.O.V.D to deliver a slow and chuggy Electro cut.

The compilation closes with Barcelona’s mysterious and multitalented artist Sal Abi and his track “Mariani,” a unique machine-made beat full of soul and magic. Following this is the fast-paced groove of “Expandy” by Acid maestro FLX, and finally, the record concludes with the blissful and timeless “Parking” by Global Aphasia.

The tidy little San Franciso imprint, Dream Chimney, hosts a charming collection of lo fi fusion cuts from Parisian artist, Sim Fossil.

Entitled ‘Tidal Figures’, the EP spreads out across 4 original tracks with remixes by Balearic luminary Max Essa and Project Sandro. This EP showcases Sim Fossil's deft ability to weave a sound that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking, electronic yet gently fluid. Hizou Music is delighted to welcome into the family the much-talented and vastly-experienced US producer and DJ Aakmael with our second vinyl release, the superb Sour Alien EP. Having been born into a musical family and surrounded by music all his life, Aakmael is one of the true deep house heads having been DJing since he was 16 and chalking up a 20-year stint on US radio. He also has a string of very fine releases to his name on labels such as the highly-respected Uzuri and his own excellent imprint UnXpozd. For Sour Alien the man stays true to his deep roots. Opening track House Music featuring the vocal talents of Esq is a marvellous percussion-driven homage to the music we love that will keep any dance-floor moving. Following on from the opener is Empty, a cut that takes the tempo down a little but keeps the standard just as high with melancholic chords that touch the soul. Dubb, meanwhile, opens up the B-side with a much chunkier groove that gets right into your head, while completing the EP in fitting style on a more down-tempo note is the beautiful and soulful Depth.

Full of funky grooves, slick synths and moody bass-lines — this week we welcome Driss Bennis aka OCB to the Dimensions Festival mix series. 

Putting the same thought and consideration into his own productions and mixes as he does with the Casa Voyager label he founded in Casablanca, this is electronic music with an edge; while often rooted in electro, it's soulful feeling and laced with undertones of funk.

With a debut appearance for us at Dimensions 2020, we're excited to witness these sounds face to face and celebrate in Tisno this summer.
