Welcome to Paloma 009.3, the third in a series of four EPs showcasing artists affiliated with Berlin's widely acclaimed Paloma club. 
The third EP is the third stage of the Paloma nocturnal adventure. Escalation. We are now circle dancing at the highest height. We don't allow no sitting down in here. Your outfit and that of any other person around you is drenched with joy, and you work hard on that floor. You still look gorgeous though. The whole room is a unit, and love is in the air. Soundtrack provided by Mr. Redley in pure elevation mode, Ten Years Lost messing up your perception with jacking hallucinations, Behrang Mohammadi waking up the funk in the machine. Here at WE FORFEIT, we are always on the hunt. Discounted bread, free wine, even the odd compliment, all are fair game and very much appreciated. When it comes to music, a certain furrowed brow of seriousness is employed. 
Through our shows, interviews and mixes, we’ve tried to present electronics with a difference, electornics that make a difference. To the snowy peaks of Canada with Solvent, to the dusty plains of Almería with Mynationshit, our objective is giving a greater audience to what is already great. This month is no exception.
Travelling even furhter, the furthest in fact, this month is dedicated to Featherstone. This Australian artist, a talent that has graced labels like Gated Recordings, Nebulae and his own Ernest’s Way. He has a full hour long mix that collects acid, braindance, electro and techno while giving you some of his own unreleased works. Fantastic stuff and thanks Ben.
Robbie is on warm-up and has some freshly baked releases alongside some golden classics.  You’ll have tracks from labels like 030303, D.Ko Records and Partout with musicians like Böhm, Reedale Rise and the incredible Ismistik featuring.

Gari Romalis is truly old school. More than 30 years as a DJ and at the forefront of Detroit’s techno scene, he’s managed the city’s famous Buy Rite Records and worked for Derrick May’s seminal Transmat label. He’s played the infamous Music Institute and the legendary Tresor too. Like we said, he’s old school.

He is also a respected producer and although he may not be as prolific as some artists, when he does decide to release his music it is always worth the wait. Less is sometimes more. So we are especially delighted to welcome him to the family here at Hizou Music with the No Beat Left Behind EP that is steeped in the traditions of Detroit techno and Chicago house, that is bursting with raw energy, sonically gritty and an unmistakable authenticity that could only come from someone who was actually there; you can’t fake the feeling.


Dance Demo (Da Give It Mix) is straight-up bumpin’, pumpin’ old-school house at its finest made squarely for the floor; there’s no excuse not to dance. Pray is pure feel-good; brash, bouncy and with more than enough funk. For a truly heavyweight sound that pays homage to the underground scene of the Motor City there is Detroit Shuffle (Quick Step C Mix), while First Love (Latenight Funk Breakdown Mix) is a soulful and chunky groover perfect for the wee small hours.
