Mellow subs from indepedent music industry polymath Raphael.

Raphael (Rodriguez) is an A&R, curator and label/artist manager based between Barcelona and Berlin. Across physical spaces and recorded mediums, he has contributed to various events, festivals and labels, amongst others managing the label PAN between 2018 and 2022.

He is one of the co-founders of Swiss-based collective Danse Noire (@danse-noire-records) with Aisha Devi, a structure dedicated to publishing exploratory, music-related works since 2013.

The debut mix features Egyptian-born DJs and producers Assyouti and Jehia, the duo behind No_Stone. Rooted in Cairo's underground music scene and influenced by the vibrant contrasts of Berlin and Barcelona, they blend their distinct yet complementary artistic visions. Together, they embrace imperfections, push boundaries, and redefine the essence of the underground.

@genus-aix is all about subtle textures, experimental sound design and multilayered rhythms. As a producer, he debuted on @indexrecords with his 5-track-EP "Heavy Metal, Solid State" in 2023 and appeared on labels like @charmlink and @second-end-rec. With his crew @pppppoems, Genus Aix finds himself in a curating position for forward-thinking events in Berlin.

Premier album de f pneumonia, Machicoulis nous amène nous promener sur les terres fertiles des musiques numérico naturalistes aux forts accents  dub. Un premier album à l’humour certain qui nous donne envie de continuer la marche.

face A: 
Une barde influenceuse se rend à Strasbourg en sillonnant les chemins de randonnées Vosgiens. C'est l'an 1518 et en contrebas les habitants de la ville se déchaînent dans une manie dansante dont nul ne connaît l'origine. 

face B : 
Après des pertes humaines considérables, le quotidien est à l'arrêt, les va-et-vient commerciaux ont été délaissés à la faveur de scènes de liesse pour qui a réussi à braver l'enchantement marathonien de cette danse diabolique. À peine sortis nous ne pouvons nous empêcher de nous demander si cette grande gigue n'était pas une nécessité ?

Machicoulis, the debut album from f pneumonia, takes us on a stroll through the fertile lands of digital-naturalistic music with a strong dub flavour. A first album with a definite sense of humour that makes you want to keep walking.

side A: 
An influential bard travels to Strasbourg along the hiking trails of the Vosges. It's the year 1518 and down below the city's inhabitants are going wild in a dancing mania, the origin of which no one knows. 

side B : 
After considerable loss of life, daily life came to a standstill, commercial comings and goings were abandoned in favour of scenes of jubilation for those who had managed to brave the marathon enchantment of this diabolical dance. As soon as we stepped out, we couldn't help but wonder if this great jig wasn't a necessity?
